Hi! I'm Ivy, The Pic Chick! I've been a wedding and portrait photographer for about 18 years! I am from Arizona, but now live in Colorado! I am married to an awesome dude, I have 2 tiny humans! I do everything I can to make the photo experience fun and pressure-free, to help your wedding day go by in a timely manner. From the moment we booked The Pic Chick, Ivy was an absolute dream to work with. We live in California, and got married in the middle of nowhere Colorado, so the first time we met her was our wedding day. Her communication was always fast, cheerful and honest, putting us at ease throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, she was a pro at wrangling our family for photos and made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Ivy's work is truly timeless, fun, beautiful and playful - she absolutely nailed it! We have pictures swinging on the swings and skipping through the grass and elegant photos under the trees and in front of an old church. She was even happy to help with little tasks like making sure my bouquet was arranged how I wanted it and making sure my dress looked perfect. Ivy will be your bestie and was part of our family by the end of the night! We are so grateful to have had her capture our special day. We couldn't recommend The Pic Chick more highly!

There is no one better than Ivy! If you're nervous or uncomfortable in front of the camera you won't be long, no matter what kind of session you book with her! By the end of the session you feel like you were just hanging out with an old friend who knows how to capture the best angles! Every single person who has seen our photos demands to know who took them and to see more of her work. Im more than confident she will never just take the picture to get the session over with, she always makes sure its the best shot possible. Shes always honest in the most polite way, offering her expertise, on why something may not work, or why we may need to adjust plans. She is also an expert at communicating with those difficult family members who want to run the show, which is absolutely invaluable. Ivy is the kind of photographer every bride needs! I'm so grateful to have found her and be able to be on her schedule!

My approach to photographing any wedding is to capture all moments of love and fun that happens on your wedding day. I photograph a mix of modern-traditional guided portraits with fun, natural, in the moment candids! It's really the best of both worlds! I do everything I can to make the experience fun, relaxed, and pressure-free.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful!

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Yes and No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. My video crew that I work hand in hand with provides AMAZING wedding video!

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 8-12 weeks after your wedding.

In my 18 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted 2nd photographer I use at all my weddings. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
