The Double Shot Project
We are a photo/video team that travels coast to coast to document your love in a candid, nostalgic, journalistic style. Whether it's a high-scale wedding in the city or an intimate elopement in the desert - we are here to capture your story in an authentic and beautiful way! We believe in building genuine connections and friendships with our couples because that trust shows through in the photographs and films we create together. What's most important to us is preserving your memories in a way that you remember what it felt like in that moment.
We bring a unique energy and flow into our work, and provide our couples with all-in-one experience for their wedding day without the need to find multiple vendors! Our services include digital/film/super 8/drone footage for a timeless, editorial, and nostalgic look. Based on our built friendship and knowledge of you and your partner, we guide you during photos to create a space where you can be yourself, evoke emotion, and let candid moments unfold naturally and beautifully.

SUPER 8 FILM

Super 8 film just has a rawness that we're completely drawn to for wedding films. It's the simplicity and nostalgia of the 8mm film that like us - draws many couples in who are looking for that "perfectly imperfect" way to remember their special day.

Exceptional team, perfect day!
Coral and her team were INCREDIBLE! We hired them for photography and videography for our wedding and we couldn’t have chosen a better team. Coral has an eye for capturing pure emotion. The photos make you feel like you are right back in the moment. I wore two distinctly different gowns (one was a traditional ivory ballgown, another a red, heavily embroidered Pakistani gown), and Coral captured both looks beautifully and effortlessly. My husband is comfortable in front of the camera, but the wedding was a very nerve wracking day for him- but everyone on The Double Shot Project team were so kind and made sure to match his vibe and uplift him any time they could. They also really took their time photographing him and his father with their project cars, which was a really special moment for them. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting just how sweet and fun her and her team were, and how they brought a bright and positive energy while always mindful of the people surrounding them (which is tricky to do when holding equipment). I could not recommend The Double Shot Project more! If you are looking for: -Documentary style photos with editorial portraits -True to color imagery -People that care about your vision -A team that works well with introverts and extroverts :) HIRE THEM!
NYC Elopement
Coral is absolutely the sweetest person and BEST photographer you can get to capture your special day and love story. She takes the time to truly get to know you and thoughtfully curates a plan for the shoot to incorporate all the locations that are special to you, your story, & your love. Not only is she very calm and comforting (which is much needed amidst all the wedding chaos), she is incredibly skilled at her work -- she gave us very clear cues for posing, adapted the itinerary based on the weather forecasts & lighting/time of day, found amazing locations for truly breathtaking shots with her artistic eye, balanced multiple cameras on her own, & even shot some behind-the-scenes videos of our special day that she could give us the same day. Ultimately, we both felt that Coral really took the time to understand us and our story, and sharing those honest conversations left us with so much faith that she would capture our story and us authentically. And from just the bts videos and sneak peek gallery we saw so far, we are so so happy that we chose Coral as our photographer because she really has that special ability to capture all the raw emotions and happiness that we felt. And she literally turned us into models that belong on the front page of a wedding magazine! She also captured a wide range of styles in our photos -- from candid to editorial to cinematic to black & white, she can do it ALL!! We have already received so many compliments from our friends & loved ones, and everyone says that they can really see our love through the photos. Overall, truly the BEST experience ever (especially as it was our first shoot, since she made us feel so comfortable), and we can't wait to work with her again (we are planning to book her for our celebration of marriage, and we are so excited to explore videography with her then too)! YOU SHOULD TOO! She's the BEST!
Amazing & Fun to work with
Coral Spencer are amazing human beings and super talented. If you want genuine, dynamic, and true to color and feel photos, I highly recommend them. They become part of your circle which makes the experience and collaboration so natural and comfortably fun!

Coral was amazing to work with! We had the pleasure of getting to know her when we booked her last-minute to take some photos of my good friends' small backyard ceremony in 2018. When my husband and I later got engaged, we knew we had to book Coral to capture our own planned festivities for June 2020. When 2020 rolled around and it became apparent that we had to scrap most of our original plans, we couldn't have asked for a better partner than Coral. Her flexibility and encouragement during what was a crazy time for everyone kept us sane. We unfortunately nixed all of our other vendors with the changes we made, but kept Coral because we knew we wanted her there to capture whatever our day turned out to be. Coral captured beautiful photos of our two(!) wedding/reception dates and we are so glad to have those treasured photos. She's incredibly easy to work with and made everyone feel so comfortable, especially as my family and I don't get in front of the camera very often. We can't recommend Coral enough!
