Q: How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame!

Q: Do you shoot with assistants or other photographers?

Yes! I almost always have a second photographer included in the packages that I offer.

Q: Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Q: Do you also offer video services?

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.

Q: How long will it take to see our pictures?

My turnaround time varies by season, but my contracts state that you should expect to receive your photos within 3 months (although I hardly ever deliver that late!) on both an online gallery and USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can both share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

Q: How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 50 to 100 images per hour of shooting. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Q: Will you edit all our pictures?

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, and exposure to ensure they look beautiful. I also take care of those pesky zits and general teeth whitening for the couple. :)

Q: What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

In my years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to shoot your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted second photographer.

A good friend of mine has said that my brand is to care. She isn’t wrong-my brand is one of caring because my being is one of caring. I’ve been a wedding photog for 14+ yrs. I find that being a wedding photog is a gift - I barely have the words to describe how special it feels to be invited into clients’ most momentous & intimate wedding moments over & over again. I’m a champion for the weird & whimsical, the fun & funky - even & especially on wedding days. Plan your day the way you want to, trends be damned. Let your wedding day reflect your joy. That’s what we’re all there to celebrate, anyway. ✨

My heart thoroughly informs how I run my business. I don’t put a lot of stock into photographing weddings for my portfolio or following social media trends bc those things simply don’t matter to me. What matters to me is that you are served & supported well throughout your wedding journey. For me, this looks like helping you as much as I possibly can with wedding resources, a supportive ear, honesty, vulnerability, & some giggles thrown in for good measure. I have a degree in music & business, & an MBA. I’m liberal, feminist, antiracist, & LGBTQIA+ affirming. I care about you & your lived experiences deeply.

They shot our wedding and we couldn't be happier with how it all came out! My favorite thing about all of the pictures is that they somehow managed to get soooo many adorable candid shots throughout the whole day - and I didn't even remember them snapping those photos! Their style of photography is truly breathtaking. Erica & Amanda are truly such creative, talented, and all around wonderful humans! They say that picking a wedding photographer is the most important vendor for your big day - since you'll be spending so much time around them. I knew immediately from our engagement shoot with Erica that she was the one to capture our moment. Erica & Amanda are really such pros, too - they were so quick to direct everyone to pose in the most easy-to-understand ways to get SO many pictures in such a short period of time. My husband and I are super awkward people - but you wouldn't know it from these pictures, we truly look like we belong in a magazine haha wtf!!!! AMAZING!!! They also got us our preveiws during the busy fall season in just a few days - and there were SOOOO MANY of them! Our wedding party was shocked at how good and how many there were, saying "these are only the previews?!" I can't even imagine how great the full album is going to be if this is just a taste of it!! And lastly, they are just great human beings through and through. Both Erica & Amanda radiate such positive and warm energy - that everyone felt comfortable around them. They're the kind of people that you feel like you've known for way longer than you do. I usually get really nervous around cameras, but they are seriously so calm and kind that you end up just laughing and smiling the whole time. We were so lucky to have Sweet Alice Photography capture our special day. From the start, Erica and her team were open, compassionate, and kind, always making us feel cared for throughout the process. Their quick responses, attention to detail, and values-driven approach put us at ease and allowed us to truly be present on our wedding day. We love Erica so much! Her style of photography is exactly what we were looking for, and all of the photos came out so beautiful and vivid. She's incredibly kind and organized, but at no point did we feel pressed for time. She never gave us the impression that we were running behind schedule, she is just so relaxed and friendly. It's been a month since the wedding, and I still have guests calling me to compliment her and her photos. People said she blended into the background seamlessly - never noticed but, based on the pictures, all around. We can't recommend her enough!
