About Steve DeMent Photography
Stephen DeMent
Born and raised in Houston, I moved to Austin, Texas in 1998. This vibrant city has become my home, as well as an essential part of who I am. I bring a sense of at-home-comfort and ease with me, even when working in far off locations around the world. I began my professional photography career in the magazine industry, shooting for publications all over the world. I quickly found that weddings brought me so much joy, that it has become my full time passion. I get to be with couples on their happiest day and capture moments that will be remembered for a lifetime,
I bring classic, timeless techniques to my images that will look just as good 50 years from now as they do today. I focus on getting pictures of you as a couple and a relationship that tell your story and capture your love and joy for each other.

Amazing photographer - outstanding photos!
Steven from Steve DeMent Photography was super friendly with everyone at our wedding, and my family and friends loved him! He communicated with me months before on the plans for where photos would take place, which family and friends were in them, and did an amazing job with all of them. The photos we received back so far are outstanding. We are very happy with the angles, lighting, and overall photo quality - we've never seen better photos from any of the weddings we've been a part of, and all my family and friends agree. Steven took it upon himself to capture all our special moments, including photos of our rings, bow books, and personal items that were important for us to have. He was a true professional who made an incredible impact on our big day, and we will 100% be using him for any future photography needs.
