Hi, I'm Stephanie, owner and lead photographer at Stephanie Whitehill Photography. I have a BFA in art/photography from the University of Georgia, over 25 years experience in photography, and 15 years photographing beautiful weddings. I've had the honor of being published in the wedding issue of Virginia Living Magazine. I'm a wife, mother, hiker, artist, reader, baker, and aspiring golfer. I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley with my husband, and my boys.

I'm here to make your photography experience effortless and enjoyable. With a passion for capturing genuine moments, my strength lies in helping you feel comfortable and have fun throughout the process.     Stephanie is an exceptional storyteller. From the early stages of planning our wedding through the weeks after the ceremony, Stephanie walked with me every step of the way. She listened to our story and translated it so beautifully from capturing the night of our rehearsal dinner to the following day (full of preparation, ceremony, and celebration). Stephanie is not only a talented, incredible storyteller, but a still, quiet, and beautiful presence. I loved every moment of our wedding day! And I am reminded of this when I see our photos! When choosing a photographer your event (especially a wedding), choose wisely. If you’re a bride, the photographer will be the person you interact with the most.     Stephanie is such a fun and warm person to be around & work with... she's extremely talented and I love flipping through her full albums!     I cannot recommend Stephanie enough! Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer, but she is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is energetic and warm and kept us smiling during all of our wedding photos! It was a unique weather situation with some light rain but she made us feel at ease the entire time. Taking the pictures felt effortless. Not only is the picture quality gorgeous, but she managed captured all the different emotions and energies of the day.
