I act as a fly on the wall majority of the day, giving you the space to be fully present with your loved ones and feel all the feels as I capture it all. Don't worry about feeling awkward in front of a camera - I will help direct you through our engagement session and your wedding day portraits with light posing that will feel natural and fun!

My goal isn’t to have your photos featured in a wedding magazine or curated for Instagram trends - my goal is to have your photos featured in your family photo albums, shared and cherished for many many years.

It was very important to my husband and I that we found a photographer who was fun to work with, made us feel comfortable and authentic in front of the camera, and brought our candid and documentary-style photography vision to life. Sophie checked every single box for us! She was also the wedding photographer for our dear friends' wedding, and we absolutely fell in love with her work on their wedding photos. We worked with Sophie for our fall engagement photoshoot in 2024 and our wedding day 5/23/2025. From the brainstorming process at a local coffee shop to wedding portraits on our special day, we had so much fun thanks to her bright and kind personality, as well as the way she amplified our joy. Our wedding photos reflect countless tender, sweet, silly moments that all made our wedding day the best day of our lives. Sophie will take your requests and wishes to heart, and the moments she captures will make you stop in your tracks. Sophie was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She is so fun, funny, and real—just an absolute joy to be around on a day that can otherwise feel hectic. What really drew me to her was her background in the arts and the fact that she’s truly skilled in photography—not just someone with a camera, but a real artist.
