Hi there- I'm Shannon. I specialize in weddings because I love documenting others' joy and happiness. I believe love is love and everyone has a story worthy of being told. As an award-winning wedding photographer, I've photographed over 200 weddings and I've worked with some of the most prominent studios in Michigan.

My philosophy is the professionals that you choose should be experienced and prepared for everything. They bring a wealth of knowledge to the table and should use it. I use mine to make your day effortless. After photographing over 200 weddings, I've found that most clients are in need of not only the service of photography, but education on what goes into a wedding day. So, I decided to design a system that educates, plans and eliminates stress and anxiety. I've seen it all from a photography standpoint and I can give you the tools to make sure it doesn't happen at your wedding. Thus, 'The Wedding Experience' was born.

From day one, Shannon and Chris were amazing to work with. They were kind, funny, and easy to talk to which made communication with the photographers day of super easy. Shannon has a very high standard of work that shows in the photos she produces. I knew I wanted a "true to color" style of editing and she edits the photos so beautifully. Shannon helped put the photography timeline together for our wedding day to ensure that things flowed smoothly and there would be enough time for everything. Not only is Shannon an amazing photographer, she is a wonderful human. She is so kind and fun to work with. She quickly makes you so comfortable. She photographed our engagement photos and wedding photos. When we had to cancel our wedding she made sure we were still able to get the beautiful wedding photos we deserved. We couldn’t recommend her enough. Choosing her as your photographer will be the best and easiest decision you make about your wedding day.

Shannon Ferguson Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Shannon’s communication was reliable, timely, and incredibly helpful - we always felt supported throughout the entire process.
