Sage & Iron Creations
Formly Known as Sage & Iron Images, I operate as a portrait photographer based in Cleveland, Ohio, with a specialized focus on capturing evocative, dark, and conceptual themes. Over a span of 17 years, I have honed my craft in photography. My educational background includes the attainment of a Certificate of Photography from the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Massachusetts and being self taught.
Photography has always been a passion of mine since I was younger. You can be professional but still make it fun! I am not just a business but your friend. I help build your timeline for the day, find other vendors and make sure it can go as smooth as possible! I am always learning skills to advance my art. Best Photographer Hands Down!
Bottom line, Ashley is the best photographer you could possibly find for your wedding and I would ride into battle for her if necessary. We hired her when we still weren’t sure if we were doing a glorified elopement, a micro wedding, or a real wedding with most of the traditional pitfalls (spoiler: turned into a real wedding because that’s just how things go). We were maybe 6 months out and I didn’t even know if I wanted engagement photos. It all seemed overwhelming and I had no clue what to expect. Well, Ashley made everything so easy that I swear it made the rest of it fall into place. We did our engagement photos in two locations with my Corgi in tow. She ran that shoot like a precision Swiss watch. Photos are spectacular, dog was happy, we were ecstatic with how well things went. I got the photos back quickly and they were beyond my expectations. My husband and I are not really “picture people” but Ashley changed that for us. Then came the wedding. Again, she is so talented and efficient with her pictures we got all of the personal and family photos we asked for, on top of gorgeous candid shots, and pictures of our ceremony and reception venues that are perfect. On top of the great pictures, Ashley is a true professional and great to work with. She gave me great tips and was a fantastic resource for me, since I never really thought I would have or want a wedding with more traditional elements. I’m not kidding when I say I’d ride into battle for Ashley at this point. I could not recommend her more. My husband and I are 100% set we have found our family photographer for everything moving forward!

Sage and Iron did both our engagment and wedding photos and we couldn't be happier. Communication was a breeze and she was so lovely to work with. I had some ideas of how I wanted our park pictures to turn out and she made it happen! I will be using Sage and Iron for all of my photography need.
Amazing photos and experience
Sage & Iron was the photographer for my wedding welcome party at The Velvet Tango room and they killed it! I absolutely loved the style of the photos. Communication with the photographer was great and the turn around time on the photos was exactly as promised. I wish my husband and I lived locally because I would absolutely get seasonal photos taken with sage & iron!
