Very Poor Experience; Avoid This Photographer
My wife and I got married in November of last year, and unfortunately, hiring Sage for our wedding photography turned out to be an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience for us. My wife has cried nearly weekly from this terrible experience and hates our wedding photos. From our wedding day onward, her communication, professionalism, and compassion for our experience were virtually nonexistent. We DO NOT RECOMMEND her to anyone for their wedding photography needs. Every month since our wedding has been a struggle just to hope to receive the photos we paid for and the professional courtesy we deserved. DO NOT HIRE HER. We hired Sage a year in advance for an out-of-state wedding. She had met with my wife in person and had several phone calls that initially put us at ease. The week leading up to the wedding we did not hear from her. On the morning of our wedding—just hours before she was supposed to arrive—we received an email saying she had a personal emergency and would not be attending. Without consulting us she contracted a local replacement photographer, someone we had no opportunity to give input on, which was a breach of contract. While we appreciated having a photographer at all, it was obvious this replacement was not of the same quality or experience as Sage. Additionally, although our contract with Sage included videography, the replacement photographer did not offer videography, and no arrangements were made or even discussed with us. We were confident after the poor experience we had that Sage would go above and beyond to take care of us. After the wedding, we attempted to contact Sage to address our concerns multiple times over several months. While Sage responded to our first two emails, the responses were lackluster and disappointing. After preview delivery, we were not hearing back from her at all. After nearly half-a-dozen ignored emails and messages, it was clear we were being intentionally ignored. Despite the difficult experience on our wedding day, she has made no effort to make amends. It felt like her only priority was meeting her “90-day delivery” rather than ensuring we received a meaningful collection of wedding photos. We did not at all receive a wedding gallery that any photographer should be proud of. We were extremely disappointed with the overall quality, the limited number of photos, and the many missing moments we would have expected, including our first kiss, the bride walking down the aisle, and numerous shots with our bridal party and family. We have yet to hear back from her about a promised partial refund and promise for more photos in the last 3 months. We have been heartbroken by this experience and have made every possible attempt to get into contact with Sage, but she has ignored every phone call, email, and social media message that we have sent to her. We have made several attempts for a middle ground, but she was completely unwilling to do the bare-minimum for us on the most important day of their lives. Of everything I’ve learned from this experience, the most important for you to take into mind is if something goes wrong on your wedding day, Sage will not be the one to go the extra mile to fix it. We cannot stress enough: avoid hiring her at all costs.
Just hire her already!
Sage Honey Photo Co. was an absolute pleasure to work with on our wedding day. From the very beginning, their communication was thorough, quick, and friendly, which put us at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of their work was truly exceptional - the photos are beautiful, capturing all the spontaneous and fun moments that made our day so special. Sage was so easy-going and didn't hesitate to get the shots we wanted, even when things didn't go exactly as planned. We were able to get together for an extra set of photos to really capture all the wonderful wedding memories. The final photos and video we received have left us laughing, crying, and gushing over how perfectly they documented our special day. We could not have asked for a better wedding experience, and Sage really knocked it out of the park aka she has ruined us and we will never be able to work with another photographer for fear they won’t live up to our experience with her. We highly recommend her to any couple looking for an amazing wedding documentation experience.

Where do I begin!!!! Sage is so much more than just a photographer / videographer but a life long friend (she's stuck with us now). I am the most ANXIOUS bride who has no idea how to act natural in front of the camera, and Sage's confidence behind the camera had us feeling like naturals in front of the camera. Her team was completely inobtrusive to guests while also being completely hands on for us and our bridal party and we had SO much fun with her!! We had a sneak peek gallery the next day of images that made us BURST into happy tears!!! I couldn't believe it, you could feel the love in our photos and she even got my grandmother to smile in a photo, which hasn't been done in centuries. We love each and every photo so much it's hard to pick our favorite. DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK SAGE!! We look forward to using her for all of our future events, and recommending her to everyone that we know.

Sage was such an absolute pleasure to work with. She immediately felt like a friend that I have known all my life. She made us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera and she captured such wonderful moments. I would recommend her a hundred percent!
