When I’m not photographing weddings, I am a rock climber, scuba diver, glass blower (#breablowsglass on instagram), ukulele, guitar, and guitarlele player, world traveler, and cat mom to Sherlock (sherlocknessmonster on instagram). During the winter, I teach a video class at the Sheffield Institute of the Recording Arts and I love having a positive impact on my students. Everything I love to do challenges me personally and makes me a stronger person. I feel the most alive when I feel connected to this beautiful planet and the people on it.

The most important thing in our short time on this planet is connection – and it’s the greatest honor of my life to be able to connect with so many amazing people and through my camera be able to show them how they love and how they are loved. After over 400 weddings and nearly a decade of this business, you’d think shooting weddings every weekend would get old. If you're just focusing on the "stuff", I'm sure it does. Weddings are about people. This is the one time in your life everyone you love will be in one room. Each wedding is unique because the dynamic between each couple and each family is unique. That’s pretty fucking cool.

    HIRE HER. Not only is she a dream to work with, but she takes the most incredible wedding photos we have ever seen—photos that truly capture what the moment felt like. I don’t know if she can take a non-impressive photo; each one is remarkable (and we should know! We got over 1500 back, and it's almost impossible to narrow them down to which ones should go into the wedding album!) Brea and her team captured every little reaction, emotion, and connection and, looking back through them, we can relive those moments all over again. The photos were not simply cookie-cutter, generic wedding pictures (although she was also able to take the most beautiful, traditional family photos, and we love those too) -- they are honestly just masterpieces. Everyone we show the pictures to is blown away. Her photos somehow perfectly capture the story of the best day of our lives. If there is any decision we are most grateful for in the wedding planning process, it is hiring Brea as our photographer.

    Brea and her team are absolute geniuses at what they do! Brea made us feel so comfortable during our most intimate photo shoots (engagement and first look), and was extremely efficient getting all of our family and friend photos together. The candids are the best part. Brea and her team have a way of capturing moments like no other wedding photographer I've ever seen. We are aboslultely in love with our wedding photos--and the best part--we received the full album less than a month after the wedding! Brea is extremely kind, professional, creative, and very good at what she does. We are so pleased to have had the chance to work with Brea!

    We hired Brea after seeing her in action at a friend's wedding, who came away with some incredible photos and highly recommended her to us. We are so glad that we "stole" her for our wedding! Can not speak highly enough of Brea. She is an amazing photographer with a great eye and produced beautiful shots that we will cherish forever. We used her for both our engagement and wedding photos and we are absolutely in love with the wedding album she created for us. She has a great attention to detail without feeling pushy or invasive in the process which is something I really liked.
