I started taking photos when I was in high school, but did not pursue this passion of mine until 2019. When I first started, I did not think I would ever shoot weddings. However, I started second shooting for my wedding photographer and fell in love with it. There's something about capturing those special moments of two lovebirds and seeing the pure joy and love they have for each other. I love love and enjoy playing a part in preserving love in a way that people can look back on for a lifetime. God creates the most beautiful stories and it's an honor to capture His beautiful creation.
One of the most common themes I hear from previous couples, and even their families, is the "breathe of fresh air" I bring to the day, as well as the calming presence, genuineness, kindness, and professionalism I have. I love to laugh, I can be weird, I love to have fun. Your wedding day is about you and all that you want it to be and it's my goal to make sure that reigns true all throughout the day. You need a tissue? I have one in my pocket. You forgot your hanger for your dress? There's one in my bag. You are not just another client to me, you are so much more than that.

The best!!
Melissa Louise Photography was incredible to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, her communication was helpful, easy, and quick - she was always available to answer our questions and guide us through the process. The quality of her work was amazing, with detailed photos that captured all the important moments of our special day. She helped us figure out the best spots to take pictures and made sure to get everything we wanted, and more. The best photographer! Melissa Louise made our wedding day pictures so simple, and we're thrilled with the results.

Melissa is amazing and so kind! Our engagement photos turned out beautiful and she was incredible to work with throughout the entire process. She had a plan from start to finish for the wedding day and it really helped to keep things moving on track. Not to mention, she went along with any ideas we had with a smile on her face! When it comes to finding a photographer for your big day, you want someone who captures the essence and beauty of your photos to look back at for years to come. Melissa does absolutely that! She is incredibly kind and so easy going. For our engagement photos, I thought it was going to be extremely difficult to find a photo I would like due to my husband and I not being photogenic. Man was I wrong. After receiving our photos, i was having a hard time picking my favorite. I HIGHLY recommend trusting Melissa for all of your photography needs. I can’t wait for future photo shoots to come!
