Within my style, this means your wedding photos will be amazing BUT you will also have beautiful candid and natural moments captured that you may not have noticed during your day, and you will only get a view of what I see, which is pure joy and happiness of you both being celebrated on your Big Day! I am so glad I had Matao photograph my wedding! What initially drew me in was his insane artistic style and how well he does candid shots. He was very communicative from start to finish during my planning process and he delivered on my requested shots and overall vision on capturing my day. My husband and I aren’t the greatest at posing, but Matao was fantastic at directing us and making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. He, his wife/second photographer, and assistant were all so kind to my family and I still get compliments to this day of how well he and his team interacted with everyone, while producing amazing photos. At this point, I need to plan another event just so I can hire him again!

It was an incredible day made all the better with Matao. I feel like it might be hard to find a photographer that *really* picks up on what you're going for and we nailed it with him. He is up for an adventure and the occasional challenge (including cellphone photographer family members, lol)! Matao's wife and assistant Danielle and second photographer Brooke were so lovely and took note of so many maybe otherwise forgotten details, things I wouldn't have even thought of as great pictures. We wanted someone with a deep connection to the city we live in and love, with a great sense of humor, and could roll with the punches and occasional quick change of plans that happen with a wedding, and we truly could not recommend him highly enough. We will treasure our photos forever.

Matao was an incredible photographer for our wedding and engagement shoot. He’s an artist and we loved his photography style but more importantly he is an incredible human. My husband and I are not ones who love to be in front of the camera but he made us feel so comfortable and took amazing photos that we can look back on forever.
