Hi I’m MacKenzi a native to Colorado and a creative at heart. I’ve been capturing love stories and lifestyle sessions for over five years, all around the country. In that time I have won national photography awards and have been featured in numerous magazines and blogs. When I’m not behind the camera I’m behind a desk on my way to law school specializing in business law. I’m also a mama to a beautiful baby boy who inspires me everyday. You can always catch me watching re-runs of The Office and eating as much street tacos as I can.

    From the moment we first spoke with MaKenzi, we knew she was the perfect photographer for our wedding. Her communication style was easy, positive, and excited, and she was always respectful of our needs and creative in her approach. On our wedding day, MaKenzi's work was truly impactful - she kept the mood high, made sure we got all the photos we requested, and even came up with fun additional ideas that resulted in stunning shots. Having seen her incredible work at my sister's wedding almost 4 years ago, we knew MaKenzi was the only photographer we wanted, and she exceeded our already high expectations. We are thrilled with the beautiful memories she captured of our special day.

    Planner here...I've worked with McKenzi and loved her and her work. I recommend her a lot but she's so busy! (That's a compliment, because she has so many clients who want to work with her!). Highly recommend and book early, she's worth it.

    Our relationship with Mackenzi is more than a year old. We initially worked with her to do our engagement photo session at Garden of the Gods which ended up being our elopement wedding photo shoot. Mackenzi was completely accommodating to our last minute change. She makes taking what can sometimes be awkward and staged photos a breeze by knowing what she wants and giving great instruction to the subjects to help them help her take amazing shots. Her easy going personality will make anyone at ease, even those who feel uncomfortable having photos taken like the groom. She turns around edits very quickly and produces overall excellent product. During the wedding she was so helpful going above and beyond taking photos to almost being another planner making sure people were where they needed to be when they needed to be there for key moments she was trying to capture to preserve amazing memories from the event. Highly recommend Mackenzi for any special photos you are looking to have taken but from personal experience can specifically recommend engagement and wedding photography.

    I can’t say enough amazing things about Kenzi. She is thorough, friendly, and beyond talented. She made sure to capture all of the shots with all of the people I wanted and was honestly just such a pleasure to work with. She felt more like a friend than a vendor/stranger and I’m very thankful I found her for our big day!
