I’m a high energy self taught photographer, I started this beautiful journey 4 years ago. Lucid Memories Photography by Delycia has been published in about 15 portrait magazines and participated in countless collaborations with other great small businesses in my area. I fell in love with telling couples love stories so quickly! There was something about photographing two people in love and telling their story. I firmly believe your photos should show you and your partners personalities. There’s nothing better than being able to be comfortable, and act like yourself for those lifelong pictures!
I have a unique and different style with lighting, posing, and editing. I have a moody, dark, dramatic type of editing style. I tend to use lighting techniques to make the photo include feeling as well as look great. There’s nothing better than having one of a kind photos!

Perfect photographer with a unique style
We had such a wonderful experience working with Delycia as our wedding photographer! From the very beginning, she was so down to earth, welcoming, and easy to connect with. During our engagement shoot, she was incredibly helpful in guiding us through poses and making us feel completely comfortable, which really showed in the final photos. On our wedding day, Delycia brought such a warm and calming energy, which helped everything flow so smoothly despite the usual wedding day chaos. She captured every moment beautifully and made everyone feel at ease in front of the camera. Our photos were delivered with a quick turnaround and were exactly the style we were hoping for warm, romantic, and full of emotion. The only small disappointment was that due to unexpected rain, we had to move our ceremony indoors, so those photos weren’t quite as exciting as we had originally envisioned, but that was completely out of Delycia’s control. Outside of that, every single image was stunning, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Delycia was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we’d recommend her to anyone looking for a talented, genuine, and caring photographer to capture their big day!

Delycia is absolutely INCREDIBLE! We cannot recommend her enough! From our very first interaction, she made everything so smooth and stress-free. After our initial phone call, we knew we were in the best hands. On our wedding day, Delycia had a way of making us feel completely at ease, like we were hanging out with a close friend. It was only the second time we had met her in person, but she immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. Her personality is perfectly suited for her role as a photographer—warm, professional, and so easy to connect with. We chose to add a second photographer, and Delycia brought along Jena Pursell, who was just as amazing. Jena's professionalism and skills complemented Delycia’s perfectly, and together, they captured every moment of our day beautifully. Delycia delivered the photos in less than a month, and we couldn’t be happier! The images are absolutely stunning and reflect all the emotions and special moments of our wedding day. We are beyond grateful for her talent and dedication. If you’re searching for a photographer who is not only incredibly skilled but also an absolute joy to work with, look no further than Delycia. Vibes and Photography on Point
There aren’t enough words to describe the absolute icon that is Delycia. My husband and I initially reached out to her because she had photographed weddings at our original venue, and we were completely sold after looking through her portfolio. Her moody, emotional, and intimate photos were exactly what we envisioned. We are not “cookie-cutter” wedding photo people, and with every set of photos we reviewed, we found ourselves literally gasping. Our gut feeling was only reinforced once we started talking to her and getting to know her. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken, but our engagement shoot was so much fun. It felt like hanging out with a long-time friend, coupled with Delycia’s incredible ability to give just enough direction to create stunning photos while still capturing “us.” We couldn’t stop gushing about her afterward. When we had to drastically change our venue’s location, we were worried it would be too far for her. But Delycia, being the flexible and amazing human she is, happily agreed and continued to be our photographer without hesitation. The lead-up and preparation could not have gone smoother. Every check-in with Delycia turned into a 30-minute chat about life, wedding planning, and whatever came up that day. Our wedding day was absolutely chaotic—things started late, I got injured, and general mayhem ensued. But Delycia was there to navigate it all, ensuring we got the photos we wanted—and so much more. She even ushered us out of our reception to take couple photos that turned out to be the most incredible images of the entire evening, photos we will treasure forever. Delycia isn’t just a photographer; she’s a director, choreographer, personal hype-woman, and miracle worker. Not to mention, she sent us first-look photos during our wedding afterparty, delivered final digital edits within a month, and had our prints ready within two months! If I had to plan another wedding, Delycia at Lucid Memories would be the only person I’d trust with my photos. In fact, I’m already figuring out the next time I can work with her! She’s not just my photographer; she’s my friend for life!

I had a very limited idea of what I was looking for in a photographer, but as soon as I came across Delycia's website, I knew I wanted her! Delycia was extremely good at communicating, she was organized and efficient, and worked with us to make our wedding day special. From the moment she started, both my husband and I felt very comfortable with her and her second photographer. The quality of their photos, the moody editing, and the variety was wonderful. We do wish we had a little more photos of our guests, but we had a very short wedding and there was a lot packed into it. We LOVED our first look photos and will treasure them for years to come. I would absolutely recommend Delycia and encourage you to book her before someone else does!! Thank you Delycia for your wonderful work in making our wedding a day to remember!
