What’s up!! I’m a wedding, portrait and fashion photographer based in Nashville, Tennessee. I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. Being a photographer has fulfilled my life in so many ways, I cant imagine anything different. I have been shooting for 17 years now and have a degree from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. I love shooting weddings because I get to meet so many new friends and experience the realness of love, that raw emotion. I love to dance! I grew up listening to Disco music so naturally, I truly am a Disco Queen! Find me on the dance floor at your wedding, movin’ and grovin’.

If you’re that “awkward” couple that has never taken photos before, I truly believe by the end of our session you will be surprised at how much fun it was. I want to invest in you and be friends by the end! I don't stick to a a specific style because everyone’s love story is different. I make sure that the way I’m interacting and shooting reflect who my couples are and how things felt. I want to get to know you and laugh with you and take photos that feel natural and organic. I want it to feel real. I try to capture the moments happening around me rather than creating a moment. It’s all about what happens in-between that makes the magic.

    Lizzy Oakley was wonderful to work with for our wedding. From the moment she arrived, she was prepared and ready to start shooting right away. We had some April showers on our wedding day and Lizzy saved the day by coming prepared with clear umbrellas so we could continue taking photos seamlessly. Even though we had only met once via a video call beforehand, she instantly made me feel comfortable in front of the camera. As a shy, non-photogenic bride, I truly appreciated how relaxed and natural she made the experience. The online gallery was easy to use and made it simple to share our photos with family and friends, who could print their own copies. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful, and the quality exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful for her work and would highly recommend Lizzy to any couple.
