I'm Kim Lyn, a girlboss photographer that loves romance and natural light. I think your photos deserve to be as amazing as your story. If I'm not behind a camera you may find me curled up with a book, sprawled out on the couch binging on crime or romance shows, and eating (basically anything deep fried, spicy, soupy, or chocolate covered). I have a slight addiction with Coca Cola + Mountain Dew...they are my version of coffee. I adore laughing and will dance no matter where I am. Give me the sun, sand, and coast and you'll make me a happy girl.

I believe in celebrating the moments you feel the most like yourself. As a photographer, I tell your story as it unfolds. I encourage authentic moments and give direction when needed. The greatest joy for me is inspiring women to be unapologetically themselves. I am so blessed to be surrounded by women who truly believe in empowering one another. I adore my strong and beautiful Blush clients and I am so grateful to be on this journey called life with all of you.

    Kim and her husband Shiloh were incredible. Don’t even hesitate, book them right now!!! You won’t regret it!!! Their photos are absolutely stunning, I sometimes can’t believe the photos are of my wedding and not out of a magazine. They were both so kind and warm and so helpful with direction and posing for photos. We felt immediately comfortable with them and they helped us feel at ease in front of the camera. Kim was so aware of how to be helpful even outside of the role of taking photos, helping with everything from timeline recommendations to how to pin my veil on when it flew off before our first look. And an unexpected perk was how well Shiloh fit in with my husband and his groomsmen during their “getting ready” photos. He really did a fantastic job of making the guys comfortable and capturing great photos, especially for a group of guys not accustomed to formal photos together. During the planning process Kim was also very communicative and helped us set realistic expectations for what would be doable re: our photo list, and they still somehow managed to get every shot we wanted, even the ones we thought we would have to rule out because we didn’t think we would have time. They managed all of this without the day feeling rushed or like we were incessantly being photographed. I honestly don’t feel like I saw them outside of the formal portraits, they just somehow managed to capture everything and everyone so beautifully while still being totally discrete. The wedding day truly goes by in a blur, so we are so grateful to have so many photos of every last little detail to help us remember it. They also had incredible turn around time—we got sneak peeks within a few days and all of our photos back within a month of the wedding. One of the most touching notes for me was that a family member passed away a few days before the wedding, and Kim and Shiloh gave us a thoughtful bereavement card. Just incredibly thoughtful, kind, and very skilled photographers. They were so flexible and reasonable to work with, so personable, capable of corralling our massive family for group shots, very comfortable working alongside our videographer and working as a team to capture our wedding day…I could go on and on. We are SO thrilled with their work and booking them was one of the best decisions for our wedding without a doubt. If you are lucky enough that they are available for your wedding book them ASAP!

From the very first interaction, her communication was outstanding - they were quick to respond to our questions and kept us informed every step of the way. The quality of their work was also excellent, with beautifully captured moments that perfectly reflected the joy and love of our special day.     KIM IS TRULY THE BEST! I don't even know where to start - from the very beginning I just knew I wanted her to photograph our wedding; we didn't even talk to anyone else. Her website, instagram and overall style really spoke to me - it feels light, airy, romantic and everything I could ever want. After speaking with Kim we instantly clicked. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, friendly and warm. Any questions I had she answered. Once we did our engagement shoot with her and her husband Shiloh, I honestly felt like we were all friends. And that's what I value most because it allows you to be comfortable, 100% yourself and capture the best photos. I also did a boudoir shoot with Kim and I cannot speak more highly about the entire experience. I felt sexy, empowered and beautiful. Kim made me feel so comfortable which is extremely important when trying to be vulnerable on camera. The photos were absolutely amazing and I am so happy I can look back on them forever. Now to our wedding day!!! Kim was like an additional friend, planner, and confidant on that special day. She was with me for getting ready and guided me through the day, which I definitely needed. She helped with my dress, she helped take out my veil for me, she literally went above and beyond on everything. We had so many formal pictures to get through and Kim and Shiloh took charge and made it happen. We were beyond thankful to have them with us that day. They made us laugh, smile and brought out our best selves for our photos. It felt like we were just hanging out with our friends all day which is exactly what I wanted. I cannot explain how GORGEOUS our pictures turned out!!! I am absolutely obsessed with them!! You will not regret hiring them so just do it!!! Not only do we have these stunning pictures to remember our day forever, but we gained some lifelong friends along the way and I am extremely thankful for that!

    There just aren’t enough words to possibly describe how amazing each and every photo that Kim snaps. She literally is the BEST. She has captured the most special moments of my family’s life to my boudoir shoots. I would never hesitate to recommend her to anyone who wants a true professional to create a customized photography experience. She always makes me feel comfortable and is so easy to work with. She is a joy. I will be forever grateful for the beautiful images. The absolute best in the industry!!
