If you are looking for photos that feel timeless—with soft, even lighting, true colors, clean compositions, and comfortable posing—then I'm your gal! My name is Katie, and I've been capturing weddings for over 12 years. When I'm not taking photos, I'm homeschooling my kids, listening to soundtracks, and reading books!
My goal is to capture your day authentically, without worrying about instagram trends or taking up all your precious time with elaborate photo setups. I want you to get to live your day, enjoy the real moments, and spend time partying, not modeling! I will take charge during formal portraits, give you simple but beautiful posing tips, and then fade into the background to document every little moment and detail from your day. Details and formal portraits will be editorial and carefully composed, and the rest of your day will be captured in a documentary style. From the moment we booked Katie, her communication was clear, fast, transparent, and responsive. The quality of her work is truly amazing - the photos are high quality, the lighting is beautiful, and we can relive our special day over and over again. AMAZING
Katie was an amazing photographer to work with from start to finish! She was very quick at responding to all of our initial questions prior to us signing a contract. Katie worked with us to make sure we got all the shots we hoped to get at our wedding, plus more! She did a wonderful job day of capturing the most important moments and people in our lives on our wedding day. Katie gave clear, concise directions throughout the day and was able get beautiful shots of 2 people who often make goofy faces rather than pose nicely for pictures. Truly enjoyed working with Katie and have already recommended her to other friends getting married next year. Beautiful Photos, Put us at Ease
From the moment we booked Katie for our wedding, her communication was clear, timely, and backed up with a clearly written contract and follow-up texts. She was exceptionally kind to us, asked great questions ahead of time to help us figure out what we wanted and wanted to prioritize. On the day of, she expertly navigated our changing needs, like accommodating tiny kids’ timelines. She was also exceptionally kind to take photos at the family farm in addition to the church, for some more scenery. Her work is truly natural, elegant, lifelike, and absolutely beautiful - we were thrilled with the final photos that captured all the special moments of our day, including our first look at the altar. Neither my husband or I enjoy having our picture taken much at all, but Katie did a phenomenal job putting us at ease, giving us clear and concise posing direction, and capturing us looking our best in our happiest moments. Katie was a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend them to any couple looking for a talented, professional photography team to help make their wedding day perfect. I have recommended her to all of my engaged friends without hesitation, and would recommend her to you too!

Katie photographed our December wedding and captured the day beautifully. It was so amazing to get to look at all of the pictures and relive the moments. The photos are beautifully done. She is amazing at making everyone feel comfortable so that you can get gorgeous natural looking photos! She gave us so many memories that we will cherish forever!! She is the best photographer I have ever met and we were so blessed to have her photograph our wedding!
