My name is Katie Pruitt and I am the face behind the camera! My whole life I have truly had a love for capturing memories through the lens of a camera. I am a graduate of Morehead State University (and have taken college photography courses). I'm an enneagram 7, a wife to an amazing man who always supported my dream to be a full time photographer, a goldendoodle mom to the sweetest girl, and am a travel enthusiast! I have been to over 20 countries; I love to travel and have awesome experiences (yes, I would love to travel for your wedding)! I am always busy and go on the go, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

My passion is wedding photography. I love everything about it. From getting ready in the morning to the sparkler send off, I am ready to capture all your special moments. Choosing a wedding photographer is important because this person is going to be with you your entire wedding day. That is something else I have loved so much about photographing weddings - I enjoy my time spent with the wedding party and always seem to leave with a friend. I know no stranger, so it is easy for me to communicate and help your day run smoothly. I love love and always seem to tear up during the vows.... weddings are just so special to me!

Katie and her team went above and beyond, using our photo shot list and wedding day timeline to ensure they didn't miss a single moment. The team's calm energy and attentiveness throughout the day was so appreciated, and the sneak peak photos were everything we had hoped for and more. (CANNOT WAIT for our full gallery).     I don't even know where to begin! Katie goes above and beyond to get the absolute best photos of your big day. When I tell you she went through EVERY single photo saved on my pinterest board and guided us to pose for every one, I mean every single one. Plus all of the wonderful poses and expertise she already had up her sleeve. From making sure that my wedding day was running smoothly, making me feel confident, to taking bomb photos.. she did it all. If you want someone that you feel comfortable with, someone that hypes you up and makes sure you look your absolute best in these photos that are such a huge memory, book Katie. There is nothing this girl won't do to ensure the most beautiful pictures. It felt like having a best friend, coordinator, wedding photographer, and personal hype woman all in one. If you are getting married and want to know you'll love what you get out of your wedding shoot.... BOOK KATIE. Best decision I ever made!

    First of all, Katie goes above and beyond. Wedding planning is seriously so stressful, most definitely if you’re like me, because I didn’t know anything lol. Katie scheduled a free consultation with me to discuss the whole wedding day and certain pics I wanted. She made me an itinerary for the whole day and kept everyone on schedule, which was a huge blessing. She was there while we got ready early that morning, and stayed late to capture pictures while everyone was dancing that night. And even though she stayed late, she still gave me a wedding picture that SAME NIGHT! Katie is so friendly, like seriously you will leave your wedding with a new friend! She fit in with our families so well, which made taking pictures so much easier. I will forever be thankful that Katie was my wedding photographer and I will always cherish the pictures she took! If you are looking for a wedding photographer, then I highly recommend Katie. You will be guaranteed gorgeous pictures and a new friend!

    Since you’re reading these reviews you must be in search of the perfect photographer. Look no longer! I was in search of a photographer who would capture the pictures I’ve always dreamed of having on my wedding day. After being recommended Katie Micha Photography I walked away with just that and so much more. From our engagement session, wedding day, our 1 year anniversary, even mini sessions- Katie has captured our special moments so beautifully. Thanks to this sweet soul I not only have pictures that look like they belong inside of a magazine, but I’ve found a best friend! Her pictures speak for themselves but once you meet her you will love her and her amazing personality (which is so important because your photographer is a huge part of your wedding day being there from the beginning til’ the end)! My family was amazed at how well she made sure we all stayed on track, I had everything I needed, all while assuring Alex and I had all of the photos we wanted. She even sent us a couple of pictures later that night so we were able to post some on our big day. Look no further!!! Book with Katie. You will not regret it.
