The Ultimate

    Katie’s communication was consistently unprofessional and unreliable. She canceled on us just two months before our wedding (scheduled for July 26), claiming she was “double-booked.” Mind you, she cancelled on us one day after requesting and receiving our third deposit. The level of oversight in double booking is completely unacceptable for a professional photographer, especially for such an important event. After canceling on us, we asked for a refund and she said she could not pay us back immediately, but would eventually. We had to send a Venmo request, and she returned the deposit in two separate payments after we were persistent and demanded the refund by the end of the week. ----------- Additional issues we experienced: • The engagement photo shoot she offered was scheduled 2 hours away, and she showed up late due to working with other clients before us. • She asked us where on the property we wanted our photos taken — showing little creative direction. • She called me by the wrong name (“John”) during the photoshoot. • She frequently made excuses in regards to her children, which, while understandable, came off as unprofessional. She mentioned needing the money for her children and take she couldn’t send us our photos right away because she was busy with her children. • Used Pinterest to provide posing direction during the engagement shoot. Had we known she was going to do that, we could have looked up poses on Pinterest ourselves, prior to arrival. • Rushed the shoot because she had another client scheduled after us — despite our efforts to be respectful of her time. • Failed to center my fiancée’s ring in the photos before taking close up’s of it. • The session lasted only about 20 minutes, even though we drove 4 hours round trip to the location she selected. As mentioned above, she was running late and had to end our session quickly due to other clients. • We received our photos three weeks later, and the quality was mediocre — both in terms of photography and editing. • We had to make our own edits to improve the coloring and retouching of the photos before sending them to be developed. ---------- Bottom line: The service and final product were both extremely disappointing. I strongly advise other couples to avoid booking K.S. Photography for such an important occasion.

    Katy & Christy were absolutely wonderful!!!!! The communication was always there, both are very sweet and were very helpful the day of our wedding. Felt very comfortable, they were professional and would highly recommend having her take your pictures for any occasion!!!!!

    "Katie is simply amazing, a TRUE professional; wonderful work ethic! She is very friendly, funny, genuine and down to Earth; a true sweetheart. I feel like we are family, we instantly bonded and “fitted together like a puzzle”. Shes very personable and makes you comfortable interacting with her. She respects your ideas and has a lot of ides and suggestions as well. Katie is a night owl which I love because I am too. I definitely recommend her to anyone without a shred of doubt, you won’t be disappointed! A true blessing to me and my fiancée.

    K.S. Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding photography. From the very beginning, their communication was timely, professional, and extremely patient as we navigated the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Katie and her second photographer were a pleasure to have around - they made the entire experience fun and relaxed, while paying close attention to capturing all the special moments exactly as we had envisioned. The final photos are absolutely stunning - warm, inviting, and beautifully composed.
