How many pictures do you deliver for engagements and weddings? How do you deliver the images?

Accepted Answer

I deliver over 150 images for engagements, and over 800 images in wedding galleries. You receive the images through an online delivering system called Pass, which gives you access to download, share, and print all images from the comfort of your home. Your gallery will be accessible for a lifetime. Every image delivered is at no extra charge, and is included in the wedding experience package.

What should I wear for my engagement shoot?

I've got you covered, boo! I send out my own "styled guide" where I share all of the tips and tricks to prepare you and your guy for your upcoming engagement session. I encourage my clients to go all out! You're only engaged once- this is your session to shine and feel FABULOUS!

How would you describe your photography aesthetic?

Accepted Answer

I'm a natural light photographer, film inspired, and love the soft tones and airy vibe. I try to accomplish a classic, timeless look not only in the way I edit an image, but also in the way I pose my couples, scout locations, and pay attention to the best lighting scenarios. Largely, I hope when a client looks at my image they not only remember the way they looked, but remember the way they felt.

How do you protect your images?

I always shoot with two cards in my camera, and always provide my second shooter with two cards as well. As soon as the wedding day is over, I upload the cards onto 3 different external hard drives. One hard drive goes into a fire safe box. Accidents do happen, and I try to do my very best to cover the bases that are easily avoidable!

Do you travel?

I do! I primarily shoot in the Midwest, but I am open to traveling further distances depending on the season! Want to know some of my dream locations? How many weddings do you shoot a year?

I shoot a limited 12-15 each year weddings in order to provide my clients the very best experience. I want my couples to feel known by me and I want to be a resource throughout the entire wedding process and find I can only accomplish this by limiting the amount of weddings I shoot.

Question 7

Would you recommend doing a first look shoot?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. First looks allow you to spend the majority of your wedding day with your FAVORITE person, rather than waiting until 4/5 PM. First looks make the first time you see each other personal, intimate, and unique. Lastly, so many brides and grooms are anxious leading up until the moment they see each other.
