Hi, I’m Jason, a Des Moines wedding photographer who travels around the globe photographing weddings. After documenting over 500 weddings, I can honestly say that no two weddings are the same! I strive for epic compositions with my photojournalistic approach to wedding photography to capture the true essence of who you are as a newly married couple. In addition to my skills as a photographer, I’ve also built my client experience to infuse more fun and less stress into your wedding day.

    We had the absolute pleasure of working with Jason for our wedding, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, he made us feel like we were old friends — warm, genuine, and so easy to be around. On our big day, he kept everything on track without ever making it feel rushed or stressful — especially during our family photos, which he handled like a pro. He captured so many beautiful moments, including ones we never even thought to ask for. His eye for detail and ability to be everywhere without being intrusive was amazing. Our parents were genuinely impressed by his professionalism and kindness — he made such a great impression on them, too. The final gallery was delivered SO quickly (a month!) and absolutely blew us away. Every photo feels full of life, emotion, and care. We’ve definitely found our photographer — not just for this wedding, but for every milestone ahead. We can’t recommend Jason Thomas Crocker Photography highly enough!

    We are beyond grateful to Jason for capturing every meaningful moment of our wedding day so beautifully. One photo, in particular, took our breath away—my husband’s grandfather holding the rings that once belonged to his maternal grandparents who have passed, with my husband’s brothers sitting behind him. It’s a powerful, emotional image that our family will cherish forever. Jason has an incredible eye for detail and emotion, and every photo tells a story.     If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Jason perfectly captured our special day, as well as our engagement photos! Jason is incredibly professional, while also creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Jason was so helpful and stayed multiple steps ahead to make sure everything flowed and stayed on schedule. He goes above and beyond to help with all things, especially wardrobe malfunctions. We could not have asked for a better photographer or a better experience!
