Hi, I’m Jason, a Des Moines wedding photographer who travels around the globe photographing weddings. After documenting over 500 weddings, I can honestly say that no two weddings are the same! I strive for epic compositions with my photojournalistic approach to wedding photography to capture the true essence of who you are as a newly married couple. In addition to my skills as a photographer, I’ve also built my client experience to infuse more fun and less stress into your wedding day.

We truly cannot recommend Jason enough! I knew I wanted him to photograph our wedding, even before we were engaged, so our wedding date had to align with his availability. One of the best decisions we made! We are OBSESSED with our wedding photos and cannot say enough amazing things about Jason. From the very beginning, his energy, professionalism, and passion were unmatched. The vibe was fun, effortless, and completely stress-free. He has an incredible gift for capturing real moments—the happy tears, belly laughs, quiet in-between glances—without ever making anything feel staged or forced. Our entire day felt real and natural. On top of being insanely talented, he was an absolute blast to work with. Communication was flawless, attention to detail and organization was next-level, and his fun, upbeat personality made everyone feel instantly comfortable. Our friends and family are still raving about him—and how beautiful the photos turned out. Our wedding photos are an absolute dream—they’re fun, emotional, and timeless all at once. We cannot recommend Jason enough! I found his work prior to getting engaged and solely based by wedding date around his availability. He has an uncanny ability to capture the raw emotion of a wedding day without making it look "staged" or unnatural. I fell in love with the way he is able to capture the small moments -a tear on your grandfathers face, your nephew falling asleep on your moms chest, children playing during the reception, etc. He catches moments that you don't even realize are happening. His artwork is a story of the best day of my life, and he told it amazingly well. From start to finish, he is a kind, thorough, and receptive vendor. I cannot stress this enough, his communication and attention to detail is unlike any other wedding vendor that we had. We received compliments about Jason all day (and still do!). Everyone was so impressed by his professionalism and upbeat personality. He fit right in with our wedding crew - like we had known him for years! Our wedding photos are a DREAM and I will cherish them forever! If you want wedding photos that will make your jaw drop and cause people to gush about, book Jason! You won't regret it!

We had the great privilege of having Jason capture our wedding in August 2025 and it was one of the best decisions we could have made! From the initial consultation through the delivery of our final wedding gallery, Jason was so kind, thoughtful, and just overall wonderful to work with. Jason has an intangible gift for capturing love and emotion in a photograph. His talents are priceless to us, and we would hire him again without question. We even chose our wedding date based on his availability. Jason’s genuine vibe and kindness made it easy for us to feel comfortable in front of his camera. We had so many friends and family members make comments throughout the wedding day and after about how great Jason was. It truly means the world to us that Jason would spend time away from his family to share his talent with us on such a special day. We were speechless when the full gallery came back. The gallery was polished, full of emotion, and clearly told the story of our wedding day. We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. TLDR: Hire Jason. You will not regret it.
