I'm super awkward in front of the camera. Will you make us pose?

Not unless you ask me to. I adapt to what you need. Before your wedding, we'll talk about how you want to be directed (some couples want to be left alone to do their thing, others want more guidance). On the day, I'll position you based on light and the scene we scouted together, then give you just enough direction to feel natural. My job is to read the room and meet you where you're at, whether that's "tell me exactly what to do" or "just let us be." Every couple is different, and that's the whole point.

Question 2

What's your turnaround time for wedding photos?

Sneak peek within 48 hours. Full gallery with printing rights in 1-2 weeks (regular season) or 2-4 weeks (busy season). After delivery, you get 30 days to request edits or photo swaps. Then we collaborate on albums, prints, gallery walls, and custom products. All done virtually or in-person (your choice). I've designed gallery walls over chat for out-of-state couples and visited local brides' homes for hands-on planning.

Do you shoot in the Adirondacks year-round, or just summer?

All seasons! I'm based in the ADKs and absolutely love winter elopements, fall foliage, spring mountain views, and summer lakeside weddings. I know the best light at every local venue and have backup plans for weather (because, Adirondacks). In winter, if I'm not booked here, I split time between the ADKs and the Charleston, WV/Ashland, KY area (where I also have a home and photograph musicians and artists). So if you're planning a winter wedding in either region, I've got you covered. No matter the season or location, your photos will be stunning and I'll make sure weather never ruins the vibe.

Can we bring our dog to the wedding? Will you photograph them?

YES. I would sad to miss that opportunity, I love photographing pets at weddings! Whether they're walking down the aisle or just hanging out during portraits, I'll make sure your pup is part of the story. Just let me know in advance so I can plan extra time (and many treats).

What if we want a super small, non-traditional wedding? Do you do elopements?

Absolutely. I specialize in intimate weddings and elopements—whether it's just the two of you on a mountain or 20 people in your backyard. No wedding is "too small" or too "out of the box" for me. I'm here to document your story, whatever that looks like. I love being inspired by couple's new ideas, and different styles each year!

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I offer flexible payment plans so you can book your date without financial stress. We'll work out a schedule that fits your budget. A retainer to secure your date, then installments leading up to your wedding. Let's chat about what works for you.

Can we see full wedding galleries, not just highlight reels?

Absolutely. I'm happy to share full galleries from recent weddings (with permission from those couples) so you can see my consistency, not just my "best 10 shots." Just send me a DM and I'll send you a link.

What if our families are complicated or we don't want certain people in photos?

I've got you. Before your wedding, we'll go over your "must-have" and "no go" photo lists. On the day, I manage family dynamics so you don't have to. I'm discreet, respectful, because your comfort comes first, always. Example: a mom wanted endless extended family photos with the couple. The couple didn't. Together, we strategized: since we already had one big group shot, we carved out a small reception window for mom's priority combos (mom + her siblings, dad + his, etc.)—without the bride and groom. I positioned it to mom as "immediate family matters most," she felt heard, and the couple avoided hour-long lineups.

Do you vibe with neurodivergent couples?

Absolutely. I work with ADHD, autistic, anxious, and introverted couples all the time. If you need breaks, sensory accommodations, or a quieter approach, just let me know. My goal is to make your day feel good, not overwhelming.

What happens after I get my photos?

After 15+ years and hundreds of weddings, I've learned that the best products come from collaboration—not just sending you a link and hoping for the best. You get 30 days post-delivery to request edits, photo swaps, or additions. Then we work together on albums, gallery walls, keepsake boxes, and prints. For local couples, I visit your home to plan layouts. For everyone else, we do this virtually and it works just as well. Recent project: I designed gallery walls for a local bride and her mom, plus custom monograms for leather keepsake boxes. This isn't a "here are your photos, bye" experience, it's a full creative partnership.
