Eight years ago, I was a documentary photographer for a disaster relief organization in Haiti, following the earthquake. When I came back to the states, I kept photographing - a little lighter material this time. But my knack for documenting events and emotion has stayed with me. I live in Louisville, Kentucky but am lucky enough to get to travel for photography. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m playing basketball with my awesome son, Luca, or throwing around some clay on a pottery wheel. Oh, and trying to keep my plant babies alive.

Feeling nervous about being in front of a camera? I feel you! Now listen, it is my job to make you comfortable enough that I just happen to be your new best friend that you’re hanging out with. I’ll set up the shot when I need to, let things flow when they’re flowing, and give encouragement when you’re feeling a little frozen.
