From our first inquiry, Dark Roux Photography was transparent, communicative, thorough, responsive, and truly reassuring throughout the entire wedding planning process. Their artistic, classic, and unique style captured the 1960's romantic vibe we were going for perfectly. They handled the necessary last-minute pivots with grace, and their calm demeanor and great direction put us at ease on the big day. They captured the emotions and fun of the whole day. The final photos are absolutely enviable - we are thrilled with how Dark Roux Photography brought our vision to life and made our special day feel even more magical.

Photography was the most important thing to me. It’s all we have to relive our special day year after year. My husband said the best pictures are taken from phones but I convinced him the professional ones would be better. I was SO wrong ! All of the phone pictures are so much better! The candid photos made it look like our wedding was boring! Our pictures are nothing like their website or instagram! We did get some good posed/kissing photographs but the action shots lack a lot of character. Some good pictures but nothing amazing, especially at this price point. On a good note, my boudoir pictures by Jackie turned out absolutely beautiful !
