Our Approach: We are Mia & Chris Courtney. The people behind the camera. We are a husband and wife team based out of Indianapolis, Indiana, where we service The Midwest and beyond. We are experience based photographers who focus on creating; authentic connections, intimate, warm & emotional photographs. A little more about us, We eloped on June 5th, 2019 after dating for 1 year. We camped at the Red River Gorge for 3 days in the pouring rain for our honeymoon. It was not typical but it was us. We love camping and exploring new places. We are a total go with the flow type people. We both love Concerts, Tattoos, and adventuring!

We couldn’t be happier that we chose Mia and Chris to capture our wedding day. From the moment we met them, they were so kind, down-to-earth, and clearly passionate about what they do. On the day, they made us feel completely comfortable — which made all the difference. They blended right in with our guests and felt like part of the celebration. So many of our family and friends mentioned how friendly and fun they were, and it truly felt like they were celebrating with us, not just photographing us. The photos are absolutely stunning. The photos feel so full of emotion and joy, and they perfectly balance those candid, in-the-moment shots with the beautiful portraits. They didn’t just capture how our day looked, but how it truly felt. We’ll treasure these photos forever. We cannot say enough amazing things about Mia and Chris. From the first time we spoke before our engagement session, we knew we hit the photographer jackpot. They both made us feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera, and captured us as our most authentic selves during both our engagement session and our wedding. They treated each and every member of our wedding party and family like their own, and were SO incredibly fun to hang out with. The art that Mia and Chris create is stunning and their work speaks for itself. We’ve looked back on our photos so many times, and are immediately transported back to our wedding day. The way they’re able to capture each moment is so special. On top of everything, their turnaround times are wildly impressive - we had our full wedding gallery back within 2 weeks! We couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with!

We were absolutely thrilled with our experience with Curious Courtneys Photographer! Mia and Chris were an absolute delight to work with during our spring elopement ceremony. From the moment we met them, their warmth and professionalism shone through, making us feel at ease and genuinely cared for. Their creativity and attention to detail captured every special moment PERFECTLY, resulting in stunning photos that we will cherish forever. It was also really unique to have take home polaroids, film, and their turnaround time was unmatched in delivering our beautiful pictures.
