Hello! I am Caitlin and I am passionate about working with amazing couples, and documenting their big day. I am located in beautiful Truckee, CA but I love traveling to surrounding areas and destination weddings to service my couples worldwide!

I love to build a relationship with my couples so that we can capture your most authentic selves on the big day. I tend to shoot more photojournalist though I will add posing where needed. My couples love working with me because we overall have an amazing time together creating your memories!

    Caitlin was absolutely perfect. Her communication from the beginning was thorough and very professional. Even before we met in person, she was the calming presence I needed in the midst of all the planning. Where other vendorrs made our lives difficult, Caitlin made the photography part easy and enjoyable. The day of the wedding she was just wonderful- on time, super sweet, extremely patient, and did everything we asked of her and more. We received our sneak peek within a week of our wedding, which was a nice surprise. The photos were beautiful and have exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

    Caitlin Rae Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the beginning, Caitlin was a responsive, great communicator and very easy going, which put us at ease throughout the entire process. Her work is simply beautiful, elegant and detailed, capturing all the special moments of our day perfectly. Caitlin really focused on finding the best lighting and poses to showcase our love, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She was also wonderful with our daughters and young nieces and nephews, and was incredibly flexible when our timeline got a bit off schedule. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to document our wedding, and we are thrilled with the stunning photos that will allow us to relive our special day for years to come.
