I found my passion early in life and was crazy enough to pursue the idea of sharing it with the world. I don’t believe in such a thing as “too much” when it comes to expressions of love – especially when it’s a wedding! I earned my bachelors and masters degrees in photojournalism from the University of Missouri, *cough cough* known as the best journalism school in the nation. Throughout my schooling, I trained closely with award-winning photojournalists Rita Reed and David Rees, and I’ve worked with organizations like the Washington Post and USA Today. In my limited spare time, you can find me hiking in the mountains or eating Del Taco.

I've never done anything else with my life other than wedding photojournalism. This is what I was called to do. Telling these stories is what drives me each and every day, and you won't find a more dedicated wedding photographer.

We were thrilled to have Amber Garrett Photography capture our wedding day. From our very first interaction, Amber's communication style was prompt, professional, and warm. The quality of her work is beautiful. Amber made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which was especially important since we were a bit nervous about being photographed. She was also incredibly knowledgeable about the area, which was extremely helpful in planning our photo locations. Amber has such a warm personality, and we are over the moon with the gorgeous engagement photos she took for us. We highly recommend Amber Garrett Photography to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding photography experience.

Amber was absolutely amazing!! She is so great and easy to work with. I have a very type B personality and absolutely hate planning. Amber was really instrumental in helping create a timeline for the day. I was also not super familiar with Vegas and she made it really easy for me by providing samples for places she’s previously done pictures. She was also really helpful on the day of with small last minute changes, and helping to ease all of our anxieties. I was a little hesitant at first because the pricing was a little bit out of our budget, but after my first video meeting with Amber I knew she was well worth the price! I would 100% use Amber again and recommend her to anyone!

Amber is not only a dear friend of ours — she’s an absolute pro who made our perfect engagement photos a reality. Technically, her photos are stunning. But there are so many other reasons to work with her: She communicates helpful advice and answers any questions you throw her way. She’s a great hype woman who makes you feel comfortable behind the camera. She cares about all of her clients, and her work reflects that. If she wasn’t going to be in our wedding party, we’d book her in a heartbeat to shoot the wedding, too!

Working with Amber was an incredible decision. She is so talented and beyond kind. We first met Amber virtually and instantly connected to her. While we were planning on a couples shoot, my now fiancé and her were in cahoots for him to propose. She had even brought a bottle of bubbly to take cute pictures and celebrate! Amber was incredibly communicative, excited, and kind. Beyond a photographer, she is a hype woman and a wealth of knowledge/advise that she's more than willing to share. She sent sneak peeks 30 minutes after the shoot! And they were nothing short of MAGIC. I was at the edge of my seat for the full set, which she delivered EARLY. While taking photos, she captured romance, excitement, and even our goofiness. I can't recommend her enough.
