Your ceremony will focus on thoughtful, bold insights on love and commitment, and personal stories and details about your relationship - NOT religion. You'll answer a detailed survey that puts you in control of every aspect of your ceremony, and you'll answer insightful personal questions so that I can share some highlights of your romance with your family and friends. Custom Ceremony

Description

Custom ceremonies begin with a questionnaire that gives you complete control over all aspects of the ceremony, like vows, readings, remembrances, ceremony extras, and virtually any other element you can imagine, as well as insightful personal questions so that I can share some highlights of your romance with your family and friends. The best ceremony they've ever seen - that's what they'll all say!

Elopement Ceremony

Description

For couples who want a warm, lighthearted ceremony, but don't have the need or budget for a custom-written ceremony. It's a purely secular, 15-minute ceremony full of deep insights and thoughtful reflections on love and commitment. I'll arrive early to the ceremony you and help coordinate the processional, recessional, and other ceremony details.

Flash Ceremony

Description

It's a 2-minute ceremony, over in a flash - hence the name! This is mainly for couples who mainly just want their marriage licensed signed, as a brief ceremony is still legally required. Attendees are limited to immediate family only. Flash ceremonies are only offered Sunday through Thursday at or before 11am, at Canton Garden Center at Stadium Park.

    “How long have you known Tim?” Since we got married, this has quickly become one of the most common questions from friends and family. The honest answer is just under a year. In that time we had a couple of phone calls, a handful of texts and emails, and most importantly his questionnaire. And somehow, that was all Tim needed to write the perfect ceremony for us. Our ceremony was so personal and so perfectly "us" that we couldn’t stop talking about it for weeks afterward. If most of your experience with weddings has been religious weddings, it can be difficult to envision what a non-religious wedding ceremony can look like. Tim's process and questionnaire are structured so that you can take the time to think through and decide what you do and don't want for your ceremony. There's zero pressure to do things "because it's tradition", and he's conscientious to ask how you want to be introduced. We took our time filling out the questionnaire and researching readings, and it ended up being one of our favorite parts of planning the wedding. Tim is LGBTQIA friendly, open to skipping any traditions you don’t want, and excited to help make something new and fresh if that’s your vision. He has such a warm, affable, calming presence on the day of the wedding that puts everyone at ease. We can’t recommend him enough, and we’ll keep telling anyone who asks: hire Tim as your officiant!

    Tim was amazing to work with from start to finish! From our initial phone call with Tim, we knew right away that we wanted him to be a part of our big day. He is a true professional and really took the time to learn details about us as a couple in order to curate the perfect ceremony. We couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out! We also had sort of a unique request and needed a non-family member/friend to deliver one of our rehearsal dinner speeches. Tim, without question, gave up an extra hour of his Friday evening to deliver the speech for us and we couldn’t have been more grateful! I would absolutely recommend Tim to any couples looking for a professional, reliable, and personable wedding officiant!

    I can’t put into words how grateful we are for the way our officiant made our wedding day so special. From the very first moment, he brought such warmth, joy, and genuine care to our ceremony. He made us laugh, he made us feel at ease, and he created an atmosphere that was full of love and meaning. It felt like he truly understood us and wanted our day to be perfect. My mother wrote a prayer and he included her reading it in the ceremony. My mother in law recommended him, and now I can see why, he’s absolutely incredible.
