Tami is the wedding officiant behind The Sacred Knot, based in Dorris, California. She is excited to be a part of your big day and is happy to travel throughout Northern California and Oregon to officiate for the beginning of this new chapter in your life. If you're looking for someone with experience and knowledge in Pagan Handfasting or non-religious wedding ceremonies, The Sacred Knot is just what you're looking for. Tami has been a practicing Pagan for more than 25 years and has received an ordination certification through the non-denominational Universal Life Church.
As a Pagan, when my husband and I were planning our Handfasting we had a difficult time finding an officiant. We managed to find one out of sheer luck. I have mulled over the idea of becoming an officiant for many years. After what Scott and I experienced, I resolved myself to making the search for an officiant easy for other Pagan couples. Despite my personal beliefs, I am happy to perform ceremonies in other faiths. No discrimination here! As a member of the LGBTQI+ community, I am proud to perform inclusive ceremonies. I will respect your pronouns. As a Goth, I welcome your spooky, offbeat ideas. Bring on the kookiness!

The Whole Enchilada
The top tier. This plan gives your event the most bang for the buck. A bespoke ceremony - one that is uniquely tailored to the couple, allowing for full personalization of every aspect. It's about creating a ceremony that reflects their individual style, beliefs, and story, rather than adhering to a standard or pre-determined format. I ensure that your event is the only thing on my calendar for that day. No interruptions or time limit. Extra travel fee based on amount above included

- Up to 4 planning sessions in person or over Zoom

- One unity event.
- Rehearsal.

Pop-Up Shop
Elopement or courthouse wedding. If a Handfasting is chosen, it is limited to one cord. Available in Siskiyou and Klamath Counties only. Travel fees above the included amount will be based upon the difference.
