I am a freelance hair and makeup artist offering on-site bridal hairstyling and makeup. My artistic approach stems from my time studying painting at VCU Arts. I’ve learned so much in my 6 years doing bridal styling and have loved every minute. From in-person and online workshops to learn from other artists in my community, I am always picking up new techniques and finding new inspiration. My style is natural but elevated. I love texture and romance.

Renee was a delight to work with from start to finish! She truly brought my wedding vision to life with the French twist and tendril curls. When she did my trial with me and I wanted to tweak just a few things, she was able to give me advice to bring to my next haircut to achieve the look that I was going for and boy did it! My hair was perfect and I felt like a movie star and princess all wrapped into one. my hair does not hold curls well at all and Renee was able to perform magic on it and the tendrils NEVER dropped all day which had never happened for me before. She made all of my bridesmaids also look drop dead gorgeous and all of their hair held all day and night. I would hire Renee again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to all brides!

Renee was such a blessing for our wedding! I wanted to do big, voluminous Hollywood waves and she knocked it out of the park! She took the time to make sure she really understood what I wanted, and when I asked to make some tweaks after the first trial she went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% happy! She absolutely killed it on our wedding day, from updos to curls, everyone looked amazing and lasted all day. People are still telling me how amazing my hair looked. On top of it all She’s such a sweet gentle person that everyone was so comfortable with. 10/10 recommended!

I am so glad I used Renee as my hair and make-up artist for our wedding day. From the initial consultation to the final touch-up, the entire experience was nothing short of perfection. I asked her to change some things from the hair and make-up trail on our wedding day and she nailed it. I felt absolutely stunning but also still felt like I looked like myself. My hair and makeup were flawless and lasted throughout the entire celebration, despite the humidity and dancing. Renee is warm, kind and so calm – the exact person you want to spend a huge chunk of time with on your wedding day. Renee also did the mother of the bride, mother of the groom and maid of honor’s hair. They all loved their hair and felt so pretty.
