She is California Pro Makeup Graduate, but from Ohio and wants to make the everyday Ohio woman look and feel beautiful on that special day or for that special occasion. For her, makeup is not just something that she can put on in the morning, or before she goes out, but it is something she puts her time and effort into doing and perfecting. Makeup is her form of art.
Every day there is something new to learn while meeting and working with every new client, and that is why she loves it. Makeup is her form…her vision… of art, and by working with and bonding with her clients they can create a desired wedding day look. She doesn't do makeup for the pleasure of looking good for other people or for women to feel secure with their selves. Phenomenal Makeup Team
Jennifer was an absolute dream to have for my wedding makeup. We had her and another artist on the wedding day due to our number, and everyone was overjoyed with their final look. She is very professional with her knowledge and recommendations for all types of looks. The trial went perfectly, and it was beyond tragic having to remove it all afterwards. She and I ended up switching my eye makeup around a bit on the wedding day from the trial, and I loved it even more! I also went with the hair stylist Jennifer refers, Kate. Kate is amazing, and can style practically any request! Both ladies have amazingly positive attitudes, and I would not hesitate to recommend either of them to anyone!

Jennifer was absolutely incredible — I truly couldn’t have asked for a better makeup artist for my wedding day. From the very beginning, she was so easy to work with and instantly made me feel at ease. I can be a bit awkward, especially with new people, and I’m definitely no expert when it comes to makeup — but Jennifer’s calm, kind presence and true professionalism made the entire experience feel comfortable and even fun. She is such an expert at what she does. I had been nervous about wearing a full face of makeup since I’m not used to it and really wanted something that felt natural and true to me. Jennifer completely understood that and created the perfect bridal look — soft, glowing, and beautiful without ever feeling overdone. Even my husband, who usually doesn’t notice those kinds of details, commented on how amazing and natural I looked! She was also fantastic with the rest of the bridal party — punctual, organized, and just a joy to have around during such an important and emotional day. Everyone looked stunning, and the whole morning felt so calm and smooth thanks to her presence. If you’re looking for someone who will listen, understand your vision, and help you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself, I would 100% recommend Jennifer. She was truly fantastic and a big part of what made the day so special.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE
Jennifer was absolutely AMAZING. I did my bridal trial an entire year before my wedding & absolutely loved it, so I booked immediately! She wrote everything down that was used to create my look and even enhanced the look MORE on the day-of with extra shimmer! Every bridesmaid and mother that got their makeup done loved working with Jennifer & came up to me to ask how I found her. Our makeup lasted all day and looked stunning in pictures. I would hire Jennifer for any occasion I have in the future if I need an excuse to get my makeup done - she’s so so fun and I’m so thankful that we had her as part of of our special day!
Recommended for looking beautiful on your big day
Jennifer Cruz was the makeup artist for my August wedding and she was lovely to work with and is obviously a skilled MUA! I am not a “makeup” person and I was a little intimidated by bridal makeup in general, but Jennifer was really patient and supportive with me as I figured out my look. The trial was easy to set up and she was great about showing me different levels of makeup heaviness, which helped me visualize and choose my look, which I wanted to be more natural. She was also super flexible when I ended up wanting to change things up a bit on the big day. I felt beautiful at my wedding, and glamorous in a way that I almost never look! The mothers, my sister and friend also had makeup done and everyone looked stunning. We were all done on time and the vibes were fun and easy-going as we were all getting ready. I definitely recommend booking Facecanvas!
