Dylan Michael Cosmetics is named for my children, Dylan Matthew and Brandon Michael. Four short years ago Dylan lost his battle with FD (familial dysautonomia), a devastating genetic disease. He was 19 years old. In my continuing effort to raise awareness about the prevention of this and other rare genetic diseases, Dylan Michael Cosmetics donates a portion of all net proceeds to the Dylan Singer Education Fund at the Victor Center at Einstein Healthcare and to PIXIE DUST WISHES – A nonprofit dedicated to sending individuals with disabilities and their families to the magical world of Disney.

In the wedding industry, you start to believe that you have to pay an arm and a leg for quality. When I first saw how affordable Dylan Michael Cosmetics was, I wondered if it might be too good to be true. After my first trial with Cindy, I realized I’d found myself a truly rare gem of a vendor. Cindy is a true professional who knows her craft inside and out. She took the time to really listen—not just to my makeup preferences, but to my entire wedding vision. She asked about my bridesmaids’ color palette, my flowers, my dress, and the venue, so she could make sure the makeup fit seamlessly into the look and feel of the day. Cindy doesn’t try to change you—she enhances you. She did my makeup, my mom’s, and my mother-in-law’s, and each of us looked like the most radiant version of ourselves. If you’re worried about false lashes on your wedding day - just trust Cindy. I’d never worn false lashes before and was nervous about looking too “done,” but she made them look completely natural and beautiful. Besides the art she produces, Cindy also has the energy you want as you get ready. She has a magnetic energy that will make you feel like the most confident bride before you walk down the aisle. My makeup lasted all night and still looked flawless by the end of the celebration. I truly can’t recommend her enough!

Cindy was such a considerate make up artist! She did my makeup, the two mothers, and two bridesmaids, all of whom had very different thoughts on how they wanted to look. Cindy was able to put each of us at ease, and making sure we all looked perfect. I appreciated how during our consultation she took what my normal makeup routine is into account and really listened to me when I described how I wanted to look/feel on my wedding day. She even was able to alleviate my and my mother's concerns about fake eyelashes (which looked fantastic in the pictures!) Thank you, Cindy!

Can't say enough about how much I recommend Dylan Michael Cosmetics! They did my makeup, my bridesmaids makeup, and both Mom's makeup for my wedding and did an incredible job. They were responsive, fun, and listened to our input to make us all look exactly how we wanted to look. I really loved them!!

Cindy did the makeup for myself, 4 bridesmaids, and 2 moms for my July wedding. She could not have been easier to work with and made everyone feel and look so beautiful. At my trial, she knew right off the bat that I don't normally wear a ton of makeup, so we kept my look very neutral but elevated. I felt and looked like myself, which was huge for me. My makeup lasted the entire day, even in the July heat! I paid for everyone's makeup as well, and her pricing is so reasonable, especially for the level of service she brings to the table! Highly recommend working with Cindy!
