Poetry Von Chelle is an intuitive on-the-spot typewriter poet, a unique art form that blends the timeless craft of poetry writing with the spontaneity of a live performance. With the star of the show, a vintage typewriter, Von Chelle takes literary snapshots of heartfelt human connection and crafts it into words of wisdom and wonder. A typewriter poet will heighten the ambiance of any venue with an intellectual and romantic air. Guests will sit with me for about 10 minutes where I will have a short and thoughtful conversation with them about the topic or prompt of their choice, work on the poem on my typewriter on the spot, and then read the poem as part of a mini performance that is intimately just for them. I package the poem in an elegant envelope that matches the event’s color palette. The guests get to take home a customized poem as a party favor that they will remember for a very long time because of how my poems made them feel.
