Be the Star Photo Booth is a photo booth company servicing weddings and other events, operating out of Shelton, CT. The team is committed to providing professional services from start to finish, using top-of-the-line equipment to create a first-class memorable wedding experience. Be the Star Photo Booth was established in 2013 by husband and wife duo Mark and Denise. The pair have been working together in the entertainment industry since 1996, with years of experience enhancing weddings and events. The team enjoys elevating events with their photo booth, offering couples and guests a take-home token when the celebrations have ceased.
Be the Star Photo Booth has an on-site attendant with each photo booth, ensuring smooth operation and fun levels of interaction with guests. The imagery is printed on-site, and amusing photo props are available for added entertainment. The photos are also obtainable as digital files and can be used for social media sharing with family and friends.

Such a fun experience!
We were a little undecided on whether or not to have a photo booth for our small, backyard wedding and we are SO thrilled that we did! All of our guests had so much fun and loved being able to get copies of their photos. We provided some props of our own, but the props they provided added so much to the experience. As a queer couple, we were very mindful about making sure we had all queer-friendly vendors and Be The Star Photo Booth made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Our attendants, Kyle and Rob, were absolutely PHENOMENAL. They weren't just attendants--it really felt like they were part of the celebration. They were kind, helpful, energetic, and so much fun to have with us as part of the experience. Kyle was so thoughtful and kept all the photo strips my wife and I were in until the end of the night. She even gave us a few 4x6 prints of some cute pictures of us. I highly recommend them and would love to use them again!

If you’re wondering whether a photo booth is worth it—stop wondering and book this one. It was pure joy from start to finish. The setup blended beautifully with our rustic-whimsical wedding vibe, and the props? Hilarious, high-quality, and somehow perfect for every guest. But the real stars were the attendants. They weren’t just running a booth—they were part of the celebration. Warm, upbeat, and totally in sync with the energy of the wedding, they kept the line moving, the smiles wide, and the vibe lighthearted. Guests are still texting us about their photo strips, (that were high quality prints I must add) and we now have a scrapbook full of goofy grins, heartfelt moments, that they gave us night of the wedding. If you’re planning an event and want to add a dash of magic, a splash of humor, and a whole lot of memories—this photo booth team delivers. Ten out of ten, would rent again.

We had our summer kick off event and Mark did a great job, everyone was so happy seeing all these lovely pics. His energy was amazing :)
Prom SuperStar!
Hired Be the Star for our high school's prom and we were not disappointed. Photobooth set up and quality was great and they even provided an online gallery. Would definitely work with them again!
