Melissa Cookston, BBQ Hall of Famer and television personality most notably on Netflix's Barbecue Showdown, is happy to announce the relaunch of her catering company, Green Tomato Catering. Melissa has catered many world-class events all over the US, including a plated dinner at the James Beard House in New York City. Melissa is of course known for barbecue but can cater any cuisine, especially southern and Italian favorites. She and her daughter, Lauren, recently studied at the Italian Culinary Institute in Calabria, Italy.

Melissa takes her global experiences to craft a thoughtful menu perfect for your event. Not only will everything taste delicious, your food will also be incredibly visually appealing. She will work with you to make your wedding day special!

    Green Tomato Catering was a fantastic choice for our wedding. Their communication style was direct and down to earth, which we really appreciated during the planning process. They executed every detail flawlessly, and even my aunt, who has very high standards, was blown away with the food quality. The entire staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, ensuring our special day was perfect from start to finish.     From the moment we booked Green Tomato Catering, their team was incredibly responsive and transparent about every detail of our wedding day. They arrived early and went above and beyond to ensure our vision came to life. I told them exactly what I wanted for the menu and they delivered more than I could have imagined - the charcuterie table was a huge hit and my guests are still raving about it. The only regret I have is that I was so full, I couldn't eat more! Green Tomato Catering played a huge role in making our wedding day perfect.
