We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding cake from Velvet Valley. It was absolutely stunning—beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail—and just as delicious as it looked. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it then, and weeks later, they’re still talking about how incredible the flavor was! It was the perfect balance of elegance and taste, and truly one of the highlights of our day. From start to finish, Blair was a true professional: prompt, reliable, and such a pleasure to work with. She delivered exactly when she said she would, and the quality of her work exceeded our expectations in every way. We feel so lucky to have found her and are beyond grateful for the role she played in making our celebration so special. 10 Stars! I've never seen a wedding cake as stunning in person. Blair is a true artist. It was also as delicious as it was beautiful. Everyone was stopping me to say it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. She had to travel 2.5 hours to our wedding with this and it held up perfectly. She even made something off the menu for us as we wanted an almond cake with raspberry filling. Blair is delightful and easy to work with too. Even the tasting cakes were gorgeous that she sent to test flavors. Don't even question it, just book her.

Velvet Valley Cakes was such a refreshing vendor to work with. Our cake came out beautifully and tasted better than we ever could have imagined. One of guests picked up the cake and had an easy, seamless experience. We intended for the cake to be only for us but ended up plating it for the guests once we realized just how much cake there was. I plan on using Velvet Valley Cakes for other events in the future!

We hadn’t initially anticipated wanting a vintage-style wedding cake, but once we saw Blair Gutierrez’s creations at Velvet Valley Cakes, we completely fell in love with the idea. Blair’s artistry and attention to detail were evident from the start, and the cake on our wedding day was nothing short of perfect—both visually stunning and absolutely delicious. Blair provided us with an exceptional tasting experience, delivering four different miniature cakes for us to try. Each cake was flawless, delivered without any issues, and gave us more than enough to sample and enjoy. The thoughtful presentation of the miniature cakes made the experience even more fun and memorable. With every flavor tasting so amazing, it was hard to narrow down our choices, but we ultimately decided on two flavors for our wedding cake (Earl Grey Lemon Blueberry & Mediterranean). From our first communication to the tasting process and all the way to our wedding day, everything with Velvet Valley Cakes was seamless, professional, and delightful. The cake was a true highlight of our celebration, and we are so grateful to Blair for making our wedding day even sweeter. We couldn’t recommend Velvet Valley Cakes more!
