About The Waymarkers folk band
The Waymarkers Celtic band
The Waymarkers are Santa Barbara's Celtic Band! We play Scottish, Spanish, and Irish folk music, as well as Americana and originals. Our setlists can range from wild dance numbers to tender ballads. We leave every audience spiritually satisfied.
Our vocalist and bagpiper is Adam Phillips, the head of the fabulously popular Folk Orchestra of Santa Barbara. Other members include Todd Hartwig, bass; Dave Garske, drums; and Brian Mann, the accordion player from the movie Coco!

Amazing at my event!
The Waymarkers folk band was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. Their communication throughout the planning process was thorough, clear, and always timely, which put us at ease. On the day of, they exceeded all of our expectations - the quality of their work was fantastic, their performance was incredibly fun, and they were truly invaluable in keeping our guests dancing all night long. Our friends and family are still raving about how much fun they had at our wedding thanks to The Waymarkers. We would definitely hire them again for another event in the future.

I love The Waymarkers and always try to see them when they’re playing around town! Every single member of the band is incredibly talented and their blend of traditional folk music will make dancers out of wall flowers, so much fun!!
