Tha Boy Maloy Entertainment Company is a wedding DJ providing music and photo booths to couples in and around Lake Ariel, PA. Less than a thirty-minute drive from Scranton, Tha Boy Maloy Entertainment Company serves NEPA as well as other locations in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York tri-state area. They believe weddings are one of the biggest days in couples’ lives, and they treat each celebration accordingly, with music and entertainment to match.
Having grown up in a large family, Head DJ James Maloy was exposed to all types of music from an early age, including classic rock, disco, pop, alternative rock, and hip hop. With knowledge of so many different genres, The Boy Maloy is incredibly passionate and adaptable. This perceptive nature allows Maloy to read the room, playing tunes to match the vibe of the crowd.

Seamless, Stress-Free, and Exactly What We Wanted
Tha Boy Maloy Entertainment Company was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the beginning, James always got back to us quickly whenever we had questions or wanted his opinion. He was happy to set up multiple meetings with us to ensure we were all on the same page, and on the day of the wedding, he let us know the ETA of when he would be arriving. James showed up super early and made sure everything was set up far before it actually needed to be. James explained that his full-time job is "DJing" weddings and private events, and he made sure I knew how seriously he took his events before booking with him. Our introductions were handled with ease and enthusiasm, and his wedding Introduction skills were definitely one of the highlights of the night for me, as that was one of the most important things to me. Tha Boy Maloy played all the must-plays we wanted to hear throughout the dancing portion of the night, as well as mixing in songs he knew matched the vibe we were going for perfectly! He also ensured people were able to enjoy dinner music with his portable sound system as our dinner was in a different area. All in all, James was one of the most personable and hands-on vendors that we hired for our wedding. We couldn't have been happier with his services and would highly recommend Tha Boy Maloy Entertainment Company to any couple looking for an amazing DJ for their special day.

Tha Boy Maloy Entertainment Company was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. James, the owner, constantly got back to us in a timely manner, set up meetings with us to discuss different sections of the wedding, and was very personable and communicative throughout the entire process. As true professionals, they had our dancefloor packed all night long and did everything we specifically wanted with ease. When a bad storm hit right before the ceremony, James quickly set up in our ceremony area and ensured the music was perfectly heard by all our guests by setting up his portable speakers throughout the venue, allowing our wedding day to go exactly as planned! James came early, made sure every detail was taken care of, and ensured our day was exactly how we wanted it. Tha Boy Maloy Entertainment Company was truly worth every penny and then some - we highly recommend them to any couple looking for an amazing DJ for their wedding!

We loved how simple it was to build our playlist and how seamlessly he kept everything running throughout the night. Best wedding DJ EVER
James is amazing! He DJ’d our engagement party and our wedding! Our guests at both events loved him so much! We also booked the Photo Booth through him and it was a hit! His client portal is super easy to use and keeps everything in one place! James is so friendly and so engaging with the crowd! Highly recommend him for your next event!
