I have been playing the harp professionally for events and weddings for over 20 years. I recently graduated with my doctorate from University of Miami in Harp and I love playing for weddings, birthdays, church services, etc. in the community. With input from the couple, I curate a specialized set list that reflect their personalities and musical vision. My services can include a 20-30 minute prelude, Bridal Party Processional, Family Entrance, Bridal Entrance, Quiet music during the ceremony, Recessional, Cocktail Hour background music, and Reception background music. What sets me apart from other musicians is my conservatory level training. With 9 total years of collegiate study, my playing is at a very high level! I also think that my flexibility creating a specific playlist that is bespoke and reflecting the couple is unique.

    Melody was my harpist and she was a dream to work with! I had a lot of people express positive things about her after my wedding! She was even able to do some custom modern songs that went well with our theming. She is experienced and has worked with several other wedding vendors like my DJ and has a great sense of putting people into a trance with her “melodies”! I definitely recommend her if you are in need of a harpist for an event!

    Melody was the harpist for our wedding ceremony, and she was wonderful to work with. She has a great portfolio of songs and was willing to learn a new song that I really wanted for walking down the aisle. Melody was kind, diligent, communicative, we met early on to select songs and discuss ceremony schedule. We had a few setbacks in setting up our outdoor wedding, and Melody was flexible with everything, adjusted and helped the ceremony run smoothly. Listening to her beautiful harp playing while I walked down the aisle was very uplifting. I highly recommend Melody as a harpist!

    Melody is well versed and an extremely knowledgeable (has a doctorate) harp player. She has extensive knowledge of a variety of genres played on the harp and has great music recommendations for various types of events. She is very easy to work with, responsive, and very professional. She caters to brides/guests needs and took requests from wedding guests as able. It was a beautiful touch and added uniqueness to the ceremony and reception. She is able to accommodate playing on a beach which was amazing and just absolutely lovely. Highly recommend using her for any event where live music is needed!
