6/22/24 - 1 Year Later, Sid's Still the Best
We knew we made the right choice choosing Sid to DJ our wedding when we heard the roar of our guests as he announced the entrances of our parents and wedding party into the reception ballroom. He brought energy and enthusiasm to the celebration that electrified our friends and family as we made our entrance as husband and wife. After dinner, his party playlist ignited the celebration even more, and our guests gravitated to the dance floor. As the sun set, the dance floor was lit up with dozens of glow sticks (we highly recommend). At one point, we turn our heads toward the middle of the crowd, and the bride's mom is dancing with our priest! Everybody had an absolute blast and we can’t thank him enough for helping put on such an incredible wedding reception! Now, 1 year later, we've had the chance to rewatch our wedding video in full. And after reliving every memory from the reception, (even the moments we missed while we were thanking family, friends, and guests), we still believe he played an immense role in making the night unforgettable for everyone.
DJ Mike Stripez is our super hero!
Due to our prior DJ double booking us and cancelling on us 7 days out, I saw Fusion Function on facebook and reached out to Sid to see if he could help us out with only 8 days remaining before the wedding and let me tell you, not only did he help us out, he listened to what we wanted and how we thought of our wedding and paired us up with DJ Mike Stripez who we immediately fell in love with. We quickly shared videos/instagrams of DJ Mike Stripez with friends and family and they all said that he felt perfect for our vibe. Sid quickly arranged us to meet and imported all of our old DJ timeline/song info into his system and in only 24hrs, we went from no DJ to being back where we should be. This is a testament to Fusion Function's professionalism and sheer kind attitude to service/business. Enough about the before, you want to hear about the wedding itself, Mike was incredible, he showed up early to our tented backyard wedding and brought such amazing energy, we quickly mapped out his area and he was ready to go. He did an amazing job live mixing to fit the vibes of the party. He had my grandma and nephew out on the dance floor and even noticed when I (groom) was vibing with Kendrick so all of a sudden we had a Kendrick mix a few minutes later. All of my family and friends told us how we had an incredible DJ with great energy and warmth. Our wedding was very sentimental and also had a unique and diverse group of guests (family from MA friends from CA) and Mike Stripez thread the needle in the music from Motown to Salsa to Dembow and everything in between! It was important for us that our DJ engage both of our cultures and bring in bilingual (Spanish and English) MCing, DJ Mike Stripez did just this and was able to engage all of our guests! I would call Fusion Function, Sid and especially DJ Mike Stripez for any of my future entertainment needs. I kept saying if this was how amazing DJ Mike Stripez is with only 1 week notice, I can't even imagine if he had the full 6-8 months! He made our wedding incredible, and did so under an accelerated timeline, truly a rockstar!!
10/10 Amazing
DJ El Sid absolutely crushed our wedding. Not only is he so easy to work with, our crowd cannot stop raving about what an amazing job he did performing at our wedding. His company, Fusion Function, was all around fantastic with setting up the photo booth and being so prompt with every piece of the wedding so that the day was executed perfectly. Cannot recommend them enough - they are the BEST!
Didn't want to stop dancing!
We had THE BEST night with Sid/Fusion Function. We told the team we wanted the dance floor to feel like a club and he totally delivered. We're so grateful for his professionalism, easy-to-navigate music portal, and above all, for keeping the vibes SUPER high. We had a blast. Thanks Sid and Fusion Function team!
