As soon as I got engaged, getting the perfect DJ was a priority for me as I think the right music can make or break a celebration/party. I was fairly particular about the kind of music I wanted to hear but also wanted everyone to enjoy themselves. Matt seamlessly combined his expertise with my vision and created the PERFECT soundtrack to my wedding. He was very quick to respond, enthusiastic, and creative with the songs I gave him. If you're trying to avoid a DJ who plays generic wedding songs and doesn't add flair - Matt is your guy. I was confident from the start that he was going to deliver and he truly went above and beyond. I can't say enough kind things about him other than he is a lovely person and the life of the party!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Matt as our wedding DJ, and I cannot recommend him enough! From the start, he was incredibly professional, easy to communicate with, and responsive to our requests. My husband and I are music lovers, so we had lots of songs we wanted played during the event. Matt made it happen! Matt truly kept the party going all night long. His fun transitions between songs, amazing energy, and ability to read the crowd kept the dance floor going the entire reception. We received tons of compliments from our guests about how great he was. One of the highlights was when I told him that my groom is a huge Daft Punk fan. Matt surprised us by wearing a Daft Punk helmet during the Daft Punk songs he played! My groom absolutely loved it, and it added such a fun personal touch to the night. Lastly, their photo booth was so much fun! The gal who ran it was so kind and my guest loved all the props that came with it. I purchased a book for everyone to tape their pictures into and write a note to us. I’ll look back on that book forever. All in all, working with Matt was a phenomenal experience, and I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ. He helped make our wedding unforgettable, and we’ll definitely be booking him again in the future! THANKS MATT!

Matt and his team were ON POINT the entire night. I gave him ideas of what we liked, the vibes we love, and a small direction of what was allowed or we hated and he did PERFECT! All night everyone was coming up to be complimenting him and everyone (grandparents, kids, all friends) were in to it the ENTIRE night.

The best time is as soon as you have confirmed your date. Remember, booking a DJ is like booking a catering hall or photographer. The really good and popular ones are booked early.

Bouquet Sound always ask clients for a list of their favorite songs, bands and genres, and for a list of “must plays” and “do not plays.” Bouquet Sound bases the evening’s music around your tastes, and requests from the guests, considering the age range of the guests and other factors which we can discuss in more detail when we meet in person.

Bouquet Sound is happy to do announcements at the wedding! Our staff will arrange any announcements beforehand, in a friendly, professional manner, and get on the microphone only when needed. The day is about you, and your guests, having a good time and celebrating a happy event

The best place is in front of the dance floor. It is best not to have any tables between the DJ and the dance floor, or guests in conversation will have trouble hearing each other. Remember, the further away the DJ is from the dance floor, the louder the music must be.

It is customary to provide your service providers with a meal. If you will not be providing them with a meal, it would be considerate to tell them in advance so they can make other arrangements. Remember, your service providers (DJ’s, photographers, videographers, etc) put in a long day and the only opportunity they will have to eat is at dinner.

It is customary to tip your DJ. However, whether you do or not is entirely up to you. Its a nice way of letting them know you think they did a good job. The amount of the tip is also up to you, but 15-20% is the average amount.

The Bouquet Sound DJ will wear a suit and tie to the wedding. The crew generally wears black slacks and dress shoes with Bouquet Sound polo shirt to weddings. Bear in mind that they will not yet be dressed while setting up the equipment.

Bouquet Sound will arrive two hours before the start time, in order to be set up and professionally dressed when the event begins. Please bear in mind that some venues may require Bouquet Sound to arrive even earlier in order to get into the space before guests arrive.

Because it is your most important day, our equipment is backed up 3 times for your peace of mind. This is called Bouquet Sound’s Triple Redundancy. Your playlist will be on a MacBook, iPad, iPod. Bouquet Sound’s Triple Redundancy is offered in all packages.
