The Boaté & Ajluni Duo is a Baltimore-based acoustic guitar duo. Tim Boaté and Anthony Ajluni have been playing music together since meeting at the University of Maryland, and have performed at more than 125 events as a duo since 2015. Together, they present a versatile yet distinct sound; crafting beautiful instrumental acoustic renditions ranging from pop classics, to jazz, swing, bossa, folk, bluegrass and more.

If you’re looking to create the perfect atmosphere at an event, whether it be a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, corporate event, or private party, the Boaté & Ajluni Duo has both the repertoire and the experience to make sure it is unforgettable. Our services include live music performances during ceremonies, cocktail hours and dinners, DJ/Emcee services for dinners and receptions, & live sound for ceremonies and receptions (wireless microphones/PA system).

    We decided to hire the very best for our wedding music, and so glad we did. The Boate & Ajluni Duo handled prelude music, cocktail music at the reception, and even two hours of the best dancing music ever. We wanted to hold a very classy and fun party for our reception. They were the perfect match. The compliments about the music keep pouring in, well after the event! We were very pleased and highly recommend this extremely talented and versatile duo to everyone for their big event.

    These guys were our first vendors hired after we secured our venue and we are SO HAPPY we had them. They are wonderful people and insanely talented musicians, and they are so chill, flexible and kind. Our first venue canceled on us 4 months from the wedding date, and they pivoted quickly and signed on for our new date and venue. They learned two new songs to play alongside two vocalist performances during our ceremony, and jammed out during cocktail hour before becoming our emcees and DJs for the reception. They even made it work when we had a last-minute rain plan go into action. My guests will not stop talking about how great the music was throughout the whole event. Tim and Anthony were nothing but a joy to work with. They are all good vibes and good music. I hope to make it to another of their gigs soon!!! Thank you so much!!!!!
