What do you wear?

Always professional dress. Generally suit and tie unless otherwise specified by you. My appearance should always be a representation of you and to compliment the vision of your big day. In fact, I bring ~25 various colored ties to each and every wedding to even help compliment the attire. I promise, I will never stand out to be the "flashy," or obnoxious DJ that thinks he "is" the show.

How do you handle music and requests? Do you use wifi?

Great question! I actually own (and always bring to EVERY wedding) a PHYSICAL COPY of all of my music to EVERY event! My library is tens of thousands of songs! I also bring TWO back ups! I update it every week! (I also have a separate back-up of all your “key music” specific to your wedding on a different type media too beyond just having it on a laptop.) I will never trust the success of your wedding, or the flow of your day to a venue’s internet, WiFi or cell phone coverage that day simply "hoping" there is enough bandwidth to keep things going, the dance floor full or risk ruining those special wedding moments.

Do you update your music regularly?

Absolutely! I also update my huge music library weekly with new, fresh and clean songs weekly! I also will not play canned playlists off youtube or Spotify like other DJs “pretending” they are DJing. Yikes - that's horrible! Instead, I am very skilled at reading the crowd, packing the dance floor, and playing what you and your guests are dancing to in that moment. I also work off your “must play” list, a “preferred play list” and certainly won’t play any songs on your “do not play” list.

Who is our DJ?

You book my company, you get me performing....a proven wedding Master of Ceremonies and experienced wedding Disc Jockey with 1,940 documented weddings that I have PERSONALLY performed...and still counting! That means you get me! Yep, you're talking to the guy that will be doing all the communication, planning, prep, and performing. (I'm not sending a 19 year old kid to play EDM or rap filled with profanity and screw up your wedding like other companies do).

Do you bring back up gear?

YEP! I will always have a complete set of back up gear on-site just in case something happens. Things do happen…and your wedding is simply too important to risk to chance…from two computers, two complete sets of all my gear! Everything!

Are you insured?

YEP! Fully covered...and happy to provide a certificate of insurance to your venue (often required) prior to set up that day.

What is your style?

The fact is, some DJs focus on tech and gear; others focus on themselves and truly believe that they are "the show" - that's NEVER the case with us! With Amore’, your wedding is always only about you! It will be seamless, and stress free...all with tastefully fun glimpses that are custom crafted to reflect just the two you, your personalities, and your wishes as we adapt ideas from my custom printed only for you 125 page Amore' planning book. What I do is far beyond just play music and make an occasional announcement like the other guys, but...I promise...I will never become "the show."

How early do you come to set up?

We will need access to the venue approximately two hours before the first guests are planned to arrive.

Do you provide other services, such as additional lighting?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your wedding, whether you realize it or not, will take guests on an emotional journey, from: joy, surprise, friendship, laughter, love and hope. Your lighting and décor (working in tandem with music) should compliment these emotions to produce a one-of-a-kind wedding celebration. Additional lighting should be considered part of the wedding décor budget… in the same manner as flowers, linens and centerpieces. Wedding lighting is not a simple budget line item entitled “lighting” because lighting and décor is the only element that will enhance the overall atmosphere (and experience) of your wedding celebration.

Do you have a photo booth?

Absolutely! Our photo booth is awesome! We still do actual prints too! The best part, is that everyone in the photo gets a photo! It's all the little things that make our photo booths the absolute best in the business! (For example: faster session time = faster prints = more people actually get to use it; full and complete set of back up gear on site (yes, including a $4,000+ photo printer); full social media sharing; no setup, tear down, deliver or mileage fees, etc all there and ready, even the free protective sleeves we put our prints in for guests, the memory album, etc. We offer an open booth, enclosed booth or green screen booth!
