Established in 1967, Lake Pines began as a 20-site, family-operated campground in rural East Columbus, GA. An old barn served as the site's recreation center, hosting many covered dish dinners, parties, and square dances. Since that time, the owners, Connie and Kenny McCutchen, have poured their love of event planning and the great outdoors into the Lake Pines Event Center. Here, you will find a wonderful venue filled with stained glass windows, antiques, and rustic beauty that can’t be found anywhere else in the area. Lake Pines Event Center wants to help you bring your vision to life, so we offer the freedom of using your own vendors or ones we recommend. We’ll always remember that it’s your special day. Nestled on three beautifully landscaped acres in Marshallville, Georgia, this Southern Colonial mansion was built in the 1860s and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its interior boasts a gorgeous bridal suite, several intimate entertaining spaces, and five luxurious bedrooms able to accommodate up to 14 overnight guests. Outside, a charming gazebo, a bamboo garden, and a pergola hidden among 100-year-old pecan trees are just a few of the picturesque ceremony sites where you can say “I do.” To celebrate this happy occasion, plan an unforgettable outdoor wedding reception on the estate’s expansive 4,000 sq ft deck or beneath a pristine white tent on its sprawling front lawn; both are exceptional places to wine, dine, and dance the night away with all your family and friends!

Nubbintown Farms is a 1500 acre working farm. We offer full weekend rentals of both our wedding venue and lodging. Our couples enjoy the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere of the farm.
