Where do I even begin!!! The Balcony Ballroom has been family to my parents & I for as long as I can remember! I’ve worked so many brides wedding days there and see the way they operate so choosing them for my special day was a no brainer. From the day I booked, through a pandemic (original date 3/28/20), and to my new wedding date (9/18/20) Vanessa, Mike, and Jay were there every step of the way!! They were always a phone call away and helped me with every question or concern that I had! This place is THE. REAL. DEAL!!! They always go above & beyond for every single one of their couples! The food, service and the staff is unbeatable! My guests are still talking about how amazing everything was!! My husband & I can’t thank The Balcony enough for everything they did to make our day PERFECT! We can’t wait to have another celebration there down the road to renew our vows :)

In 2014, Troy and Cindy Timphony of Hobnobber Café were approached with the idea of taking over the catering, management and marketing of the Alexander Room. Mrs. Cindy, the Timphony family, & all of the staff here at The Alexander Room are the absolute best. Our wedding went off without a hitch, and was an absolute dream come true. From day one, Mrs. Cindy made sure to check in with our stress levels, and assure us that she would be there for anything we needed. To say we felt special, and taken care of, is such an understatement. The venue is incredible, with a spacious indoor, and a fabulous terrace overlooking the best parts of Metairie. The guests ate up the indoor/outdoor experience, and were all able to mingle very well with the layout. And the food —- off the charts. We got SO many compliments on the food! If you’re hesitating, don’t. This is the place for your special day.

THE BEST DECISION we have made throughout our whole wedding process is booking this venue. This place is truly outstanding! The food, the staff, and the character of this place is everything that we could have hoped for. My husband and I were hunting like crazy for the perfect venue for us and The Parlor was exactly that. I remember emailing Ruby throughout the months before our wedding day and she would respond within SECONDS. They truly want to make everything go as easy as possible for you and to make your day memorable. They were attentive to our needs and wants and we honestly felt like we were treated like royalty! THE FOOD! Our guests to this day says that the food was the best food they ever had at a wedding. WOW! The service? PHENOMENAL. Everyone had a smile on their face and they were so quick to help you. There is not a bad thing I could say about this place. My husband and I still reminisce about our day and we agree that it could not have been this good without The Parlor and it's staff. THANK YOU! I am so excited to write this review for the Royal Frenchmen Hotel and Bar Team. We live in Maryland, and while I have family who is local to NOLA, we were taking a chance on a venue we had never visited. But, even working with Chloe before our contract was signed, I felt confident that all of my questions were getting answered, and that even the questions I hadn’t thought to ask, would still be taken care of. And I was right. We worked with their team from June 2023 to our wedding weekend August 2024 and Chloe and I slowly worked through every possible detail before we arrived. We got to visit the venue in January and they were such gracious hosts to us and my family. We even got to meet more of the team, all just as warm and kind. During our visit they treated us to a bar tasting to curate our menu with their award winning bar tenders, as well as had our caterers come in to customize our menu. And the food, was of course New Orleans level taste and quality. DELICIOUS. We were huge fans of all the vendors they suggested, from the band, to the bakeries for our cake, to the amazing photographer and videographer skills you see in the photos attached. They prioritized our needs, and always listened to what we requested, while also providing expert guidance when we weren’t sure what was the best plan. Even in the middle of the thunderstorms that arrived the week leading up to our day, they ensured our plan was in tact with a tent that was so beautifully decorated I couldn’t believe it wasn’t part of the original layout. As our guests arrived to stay for the weekend, and filed in on Saturday for the wedding, we continued to receive such beautiful feedback on how attentive they were to guests before, during, and after the wedding. We plan to continue to be visitors of this awesome hotel and bar to reminisce our magical day, but I want to make sure other couples get the chance to experience the care, warmth, and amazing service provided by the Royal Frenchmen team for their special day.

My husband and I got married at Beau Chene the Saturday after Christmas and it was absolutely beautiful the club had the most beautiful Christmas decor that blended in so nicely with our decorations! We had to get married inside due to the weather but it ended up being so beautiful! Especially with the fire place going and the Christmas’s tree in the background. The club was able to flip the room for the reception so fast and the staff was attentive the entire night! Also, Ashlee the events coordinator at the club is AMAZING! The day was seamless with her hard work!

We had an amazing time planning, creating, and experiencing our wedding with Kelsey at The Venue! She did everything she could to accommodate all of our ideas. If you love nature and want a fairy garden vibe to your wedding, then choose Palmettos on the Bayou!! We got married under a huge, mossy oak tree, and held our reception on the patio deck that is built around cypress trees and right up on the Bayou (no mosquitos or bugs either!). The wedding coordinator there makes everything so easy and they help guide you along the way. There is a cottage on site you can rent to get ready in, which is so spacious and cute! We got on site at 8am, and didn't have to leave the property until post reception! I seriously couldn't have asked of a better experience and the best part is we get to go back for an anniversary dinner every year. I will always recommend this venue to anyone who asks. 10000/10!!!
