Major changes are happening in downtown Marshall as the long-vacant building at 112 N. Eagle Street transforms. The new Venue 19 Zero 9, named after Schuler’s founding year in 1909, will occupy the historic Dreamers Furniture store, blending Schuler’s legacy with modern elegance for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. The venue will feature a reception room for 250 guests, intimate seating areas, bridal quarters, large restrooms, and three boutique hotel rooms. Walnut Creek Country Club boasts a rich history spanning back to 1955 as Farmington Country Club. Renamed in 1987 after relocating to its current Lyon Township site (a 27-hole golf course), the Club built its clubhouse in 1989.
