The center can host parties of up to 400 people, with a large lobby and a library which serves as the bridal suite. Our on-site caterer, Kathy’s Kitchen, provides delicious and affordable meals. Kathy's Kitchen specializes in cooking from scratch and we enjoy the chance to customize to fit a price point or a favorite meal or side dish. Bloom Lake Barn is a freshly renovated wedding and event venue located in Shafer, Minnesota near the gorgeous St. Croix River. Set in the picturesque St. Croix valley, Bloom Lake Barn provides that "out of the way" country charm a short 40-mile drive from the Twin Cities. Juliane James Place is a wedding venue and vacation rental carved into the middle of the woods in the middle of Minnesota. Weddings are really fun at Juliane James Place.
