Where do I begin?!! The Portofino Hotel & Marina was INCREDIBLE!!!!!! From day one all the way to today, a few days after the wedding, all the staff we encountered has been excellent!! Specifically I want to give a shout out to Sierra, Rain, Luis, Paco, & Mac. Sierra was my main hotel wedding coordinator and contact. She was so responsive, attentive, organized, sweet, available, and amazing!! I couldn’t be happier with her and her services. The entire experience was seamless. We planned an entire wedding in under 2 months together as I was eager to marry my man this year. She was so helpful and explained any and all things when I had questions. Starting with booking the venue all the way to the day after the wedding. Everything was so organized, including the deadlines of decisions I needed to make, and payment info, and what to do if it rained. She had everything covered. THANK YOU THANK YOU SIERRA!! Rain was also another venue coordinator & catering sales manager who helped us too and he was amazing as well. He stepped in when/if Sierra was out of the office and he attended our tasting and answered so many questions as well. He was so nice, sweet and great to work with. Very organized and never missed a beat! Thank you Rain!! Luis, the director of Banquets, handled anything food and drink related and everything was perfect. He even placed two of each hors d’oeuvres at our sweetheart table (knowing we probably wouldn’t get a chance to eat them during cocktail hour as we were busy mingling) and he was right!! It was such a sweet, simple gesture that made a big impression on us. Paco was one of the Bartenders from the day of (I never got a chance to meet our other bartender) and he was so fun and cheerful and positive and an overall great spirit. Guests kept telling me how much they loved Paco and me too! Mac worked on the hotel side and we met him when we checked in and he handled ALL our luggage and he also golf carted me around on the actual wedding day so I didn’t have to walk too much. He was super sweet and was so helpful and had a great vibe! Also, my initial point of contact was Melanie who responded to my initial venue request. She was so great and helpful and responsive that right away we were sold and we booked the venue the next day without ever even seeing it in person. On top of all the AMAZING staff, the venue is just absolutely beautiful!! You can’t find a prettier ocean front venue in the So Cal. Just gorgeous. We chose a type of all-inclusive wedding package that included a sit down 3-course dinner, open bar, ceremony, hotel room, wedding cake, and many more perks such as white linen, candles on each table, arch on the ceremony grass, champagne toast, etc. It was perfect, efficient, organized and made my life so easy. I really didn’t have to do much except invite guests and show up!! many of my guests told me afterward they were so impressed with the staff, venue and the food!!! Seriously, the food was excellent. I know all of this sounds too good to be true but honestly it was. I had zero problems, no horror stories, nothing. It truly was a PERFECT day and overall experience. I also found out afterward that a coworker of mine got married here too this past summer and she said the same thing. Her day was perfect as well and I am not surprised at all. Thank you to everyone at the Portofino! We cant wait to come back just to enjoy the restaurant, the views and the excellent service :)

The team at Peace Cottage was very responsive, replying to all of my inquiries within 2 hours. I rented the entire house and backyard for my engagement party, and they provided the space for a full 24 hours - much more than I expected. Their team was extremely helpful, treating me very professionally while also working with me in a personalized, family-like way. The space was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the master bedroom was a hidden gem that served as my own private retreat. Overall, the value I received far exceeded what I paid - my engagement party was a truly memorable day thanks to the flawless service and attention to detail from the Peace Cottage team.

Mary-Anne was very helpful the whole way through. They did a vendor expo that made the decision-making process extremely easier. It was great that we did not have to go to another venue. Everything can take place there: ceremony & reception! Plenty of room for up to 200 guests. Beautiful scenery, very photogenic! No complaints on the food or appetizers. We took advantage of the full venue. We loved everything: it was perfect!

From beginning to end, Daniel & Stephanie were a pleasure to work with. They were on top of everything we requested and were thoroughly organized. Daniel (executive chef), Stephanie and the lovely staff helped put together the most amazing and unforgettable experience during our outdoor wedding at the Santa Anita Arboretum. Guests were raving so much about the food and drinks!! They passed canapes (small bites) and fine wines to pair, we had Spanish toast & taco bar stations, the 3-course dinner was magical, I’m still thinking of the swordfish and my husband still talks about the steak! Magical! Omg the chocolate tart ganache with a heart shape laced chip was beautifully done. My husband and I are still dreaming of them. We cannot thank them enough. Everyone said so many good things and left with full bellies.

I am writing this review not only as a client who has held a party at Mountain Meadows with 220 guests, but I’m also a professional photographer who has photographed numerous weddings there for over the last 10 years. I can honestly say that Mountain Meadows is an absolutely beautiful venue with an incredible staff. From the employees in the events office to the food and beverage staff, everyone I’ve come in contact with has been the most accommodating, welcoming, professional and supportive team of employees I’ve seen in the business. I would highly recommend anyone seeking a venue for their next special occasion to choose Mountain Meadows. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

mpliments for the food during our wedding, and the staff took such great care of us during our wedding day. We both wish we could go back to the venue just to try food there again. Shauna, who we initially worked with when we signed on to work with the Fig House, was really great and worked with us so well. At first, the venue was out of our price range, but she worked to get it down to a price we were comfortable with. As we got closer to the big day, Shauna was subbed out for Kevin on the event staff. Our process took a little bit of a turn here as Kevin, while nice and easy to work with in our 1 on 1 interactions, was ultimately not the most helpful and caused as quite a bit of stress in the lead up to our big day. We were sent the wrong bill, told about some restrictions to the venue really late in the process, and were unacknowledged by him on the day of our rehearsal. We really recommend the Fig House to anyone looking for an intimate and unique space in LA, but can’t recommend working with Kevin. It’s also helpful to know that the venue has some limitations with timing, the use of outside vendors, and some hidden fees!

I recently held my wedding at the Pomona Grand Ball, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We were having a difficult time finding our perfect venue, and then along came The Revery. It is a stunning blank canvas with a touch of industrial appeal, something my partner and I were definitely fans of both being from NYC originally. Beautiful bathrooms, a full kitchen for catering, and a lovely little room for the wedding party to hide out in as need be. There are options for basic rentals, but the best part about this place is the flexibility to make it whatever you want it to be! We held our ceremony in one portion of the downstairs veranda, and cocktail hour on the other side. Then everyone went upstairs to the big reveal of the reception. So convenient to have it all in one place. The surrounding area also has some really cool graffiti, as well as some vibrant green space, perfect for taking different arrays of photographs. Monica is the sweetest, and she and her team were very helpful and responsive, and despite how busy they are, would always find time for us. They made everything flow so seamlessly and feel so special on our big day. We seriously couldn't be happier with choosing The Revery for our wedding.
